"Rap game in a chokehold' is 50 Cent and 'Still' is Dr Dre. I've noticed a bunch of those sorts of references in Ren's lyrics. In Murderer he says "See me freestyle freely" which I'm pretty sure is a reference to the Em lyric from Business...I could be wrong about that one, as it's not an exact reference. Also "drop it like it's hot" was a clear reference to Snoop.

834 ❤ Thanks for this great idea. I’m disabled with multiple physical and mental health disabilities. It’s one of the reasons I connected with REN. I have been sick since 2015, but it really got bad in 2017. My life revolves around drs, surgeries, therapists,… Living in constant pain, severe anxiety, spinal cord nerve damage, autoimmune disease. I hardly leave my house except for dr appts and therapy appts, some days don’t leave bed, praying to god to bring me home. Since listen to REN I’ve started to try to find something positive out of my situation. Some days are better than others…..757❤️

Man, this song is a vibe, just loved it. My jaw dropped the first time I heard it, it's just so fun to see him be more tongue in cheek, and as person whose first language is spanish that 2 spanish words in the hook, and you picking up that reference made it 100 times better for me. Nah that track isn't it the source, it also sampled Lyn Collins - Think (about it) (a track which also produced the infamous "think break" which was for example used in dozens and dozens of dnb tracks)

I care for my Dad who has vascular dementia but we have extra carers who come in thrice a day to do his personal stuff and I would be lost without their help. I realised I hadn't put a number so I sent a separate msg with a number as I don't know how to edit my existing msg! Thank you for your lovely msg - likesay this community of 'Renagades' are wonderful human beings ❤ xx
