@thatguyoverthere3993 Yes, watch them, love them, caress them, and they will flower and dissipate, leaving you a little more healed than you were before. When there are no more thoughts or feelings to be healed you will sit there in silence and see your True face, the Face within all, and you will return reborn and will feel pain in life, but knowing Reality you will never suffer again. Be. Be free.

Here is some additional information on Ren's story that I gathered from old newspaper interviews, articles, and Ren's public livestreams and posts. A handful of people frequently post an earlier version of my comment to various reactions that they copied and pasted verbatim, so if this is a repeat just ignore this comment. I keep editing the information, as needed, and have removed details about Ren that some found to be too personal, such as his full name and D.O.B. All the information here was gathered exclusively from sources Ren personally approved for public release. Ren is a British musician/independent artist/producer, self-taught multi-instrumentalist; originally from Wales. Ren pursued a career in music from an early age. In 2009, while studying music performance at Bath Spa University, Ren began to experience health issues and was struggling to attend his lectures, which eventually caused him to discontinue his studies and return home. In addition, Ren was signed by Sony Records in 2010 and was working on an album when his health deteriorated to the point that he was unable to go on; consequently, his contract with Sony was dissolved. Ren would later relocate to Brighton. Ren's illness often kept him in bed for up to 23 hours daily. Ren was initially misdiagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome, which led him to experience psychosis and develop PTSD. It would take seven years before a doctor in Belgium finally correctly diagnosed Ren with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and resulting damage to the brain, organs, joints, and PTSD. Ren eventually underwent stem cell therapy in the United States, which improved his health, but it has not been a cure. Ren is in Calgary, Canada for at least six months (Summer of 2023), undergoing treatments such as IV therapy and other interventions five days a week, as well as surgeries (wisdom tooth removal and cavitation surgery). His Canadian doctor discovered that Ren also developed a condition called Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAD), which has affected the myelin sheath in his brain, his thyroid, and adrenals as well as his bones/joints. Hence, Ren is receiving additional treatments for this previously undiagnosed condition. He recently took a break from treatments and returned to the UK to visit family and friends, and to produce some very ambitious musical projects to be released soon. Let's keep supporting Ren as he undergoes his treatments. Check out and subscribe to his channel; if you are a content creator, ask your audience to subscribe to Ren. Ren's YT channel just surpassed 1 million subscribers. and his videos have garnered millions and millions of views. Listen to some of his earlier work, like and comment on his performances, and let's lift Ren's spirits. If you are a believer, pray for him. Ren is an artist with something to say to the world, and his work is important in these troubling times. Someone has finally created a Wikipedia page for Ren, so there is additional information available.

This is the kind of artistry that gives "broken" people hope. Ren, through this performance piece, has become to a lot of people exactly what he stated in the song, "...the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope". So powerful, so impactful. The song structure itself is incredible. It starts off as a battle between his positive (Angel) and negative (Demon) aspects, the negative then makes an overpowering last ditch effort to reign supreme, tearing free and trying to take control, but ultimately fails as the final act, being the "God" aspect, emerges Triumphant, though still acknowledging and accepting that it will ALWAYS be a battle because we are all "a coin with 2 different sides". It's a beautifully cathartic and raw musical masterpiece. Ren is truly special. Welcome to the Ren rabbit-hole, it's a trip worth taking. This was the 4th take he did and yes, it was done live. Wait until you hear some of his other stuff, especially his storytelling ("The Tale of Jenny & Screech"). You haven't even touched the breadth of this young man's talent yet. The pig character (imo) represents the doctors and therapist who have essentially butchered him for years through their misdiagnosis. It's the system that focuses on peddling more pills than on genuinely trying to help to fix broken/ill people, caring more about profit than individual health. The bastardization of the hippocratic oath. He literally thought he was going insane because he was told repeatedly that the pain and symptoms he was experiencing were all in his head (psychosomatic). He had reached a point where he literally resigned himself to dying before he reached 30. Turns out he had Lyme's disease the whole time and it ran rampant through his system for 10 years, even to the point of causing brain damage. Ironically, if Ren hadn't gone through what he has, would he have ever made the art he has? There's no question that his suffering has shaped his music and now he's finally getting the recognition he undoubtedly deserves. I've said it before, I'll say it again, Ren is special.

Having watched this probably a hundred times, it never ceases to amaze me that I still always choke up when he starts singing near the end. He also did this live, in one take, after a few previous tries. I hope you continue your Ren listening journey! A couple of tips for Ren videos if I may? Be sure to watch the Jenny/Screech/Violet complete performance (full) video with all three if possible. He posted them individually as well, but they should be seen in the proper order to avoid spoiling the story. It is another performance piece. SIck Boi is the follow up to Hi Ren if interested. You should watch him sing in his old band ‘the big push’, as well, but look for the ‘i shot the sheriff/road to Zion/hip hop’ version to see some of his musical chops. Watch ‘the Hunger’ to check out his rap skills. For a different vibe, try ‘Murderer’, ‘losing it’, ‘power’, or ‘love music part 4’, for his recent hits, but his older stuff is great too! Mind you, Ren’s lyrics can be quite cheeky at times, and he loves to shock and confuse his audience so have fun with it, cheers!

In addition to Ren songs, he collabs with others, and is/was a member of the band "The Big Push" they do mashups while busking, they do covers, and they do original songs. Romain and Garren are his band mates and also produce and perform their own songs. Glen the drummer is off pursuing his dream: software coding. This Ren rabbit hole has no end, that i can see. Ren's mad talented. He does it all - writes & composes, sings/raps/beat boxes, plays multiple instruments and produces his own beats, creates his videos (usually with videographer Samuel Perry-Falvey, often live, often one-takes), and he does it in various genres. You never know what you're going to get. His collaborations are stellar also (with Eden Nash, Chinchilla, Sam Tompkins, or his former band, The Big Push). If you want more storytelling, try his Tales trilogy or Money Game (parts 1&2, with 3 coming out soon). For fast rap, try The Hunger or Losing It. For bars, try Power, Genesis or Illest of Our Time. For fun, try What You Want, Ocean, or Humble. For singing, try "Chalk Outlines" or The Big Push's medley titled "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop" or pretty mush any of his busking videos. The list goes on.

You have a great voice! ❤ i loved your innocent amazement. This is where most of us started with Ren. Start peeling the onion! He might make you cry, or laugh. It's all ok. Never experenced such a talented, empathic soul in music. He has been through hell and back and his songs will tell it. CRUTCH shows him at a liw point in his health,as does PATIENCE. MURDERER shows more rap skills. I love the acoustic version. The Tales of Jenny and Screech, fulo and CHALK OUTLINES LIVE Tons of stuff with his band THE BIG PUSH. NEW SUB HERE, for more Ren Please.

It's not multiple personalities. It's not bi-polar. It's not schizophrenia. Ren's never suffered from any of those. This is addressing the human condition. This is something that we all face. It's part of the human condition. We all deal with darkness, both internally and externally. It's not something that can be eliminated from our lives. It's always in the World, death, pain, suffering, illness, loss, heartbreak etc etc. It helps to shape who we are, both negatively AND positively and it's part of who we are. Once we accept this simple fact we are able to mitigate the dark things in our lives more effectively. It also enables us to more fully understand ourselves which, in turn, enables us to understand the World around us more effectively. Every cloud really does have a silver lining, even though we may often not want to admit it. The riches within those silver linings may be vast but we can't reach them without going through the darkness.

Loving REN! Also open minded for something special One of the best voices in the universe : please react to Dimash Kudaibergen singing "Ogni Pietra" from his own channel (Arnau Concert). This guy has an 6 octave range and he is trained since the age of 5 years old. Never heard a voice like that. It's mind blowing and I'm sure you will enjoy it. All the best from Germany 🇩🇪. Petra

Ren started suffering medical issues in his late teens. Chronic pain and other symptoms. He saw doctors and everything was eventually diagnosed as psychosomatic. It was all in his mind. He was treated as a mental patient for years. His physical and mental condition continued to deteriorate. Eventually, years later, it was determined he suffered from Lyme disease. He was finally treated with antibiotics and is currently being treated with stem cells trying to heal his brain and body from all the damage suffered from having that disease for years without treatment. The pig faced butcher at the beginning of the video is a representation of those doctors that misdiagnosed him so many years ago. There is a go fund me to help cover those medical expenses.
