One of the things that has drawn in so many new fans is ren’s distinct ability to show respect for the music that moves him. Whether he’s playing a beautifully arranged cover or just sliding subtle nods into an original piece, he knows how to strike a chord within those of us who grew up loving that music as well. A great example of this would be his acoustic live version of his recent release Murderer. He performed it during a quick trip to LA and it was phenomenal. Totally different vibe than the original, and some fun little homages snuck in.

The big push.. wade in the water / trouble so hard. Rens base playing and vocals, alongside the band, will blow your mind I promise!

You need to do some of Ren rapping. His bars and flow switches are nuts. Check out "The Hunger".

I love how with that mustache and the way he dresses the drummer looks like he's a barista at some high end bougie coffee shop and he should be serving me up a a grande coffalotta choka mocha whatever haha. These guys are amazing. At this same live busking session they did a cover of The Rolling Stones Paint it Black and it's absolutely is amazing as well! You guys should check out the video for that one as well.

During this busking session he had just finished a mash up of I shot the sheriff/road to Zion/hip hop which is why he said it was just like getting a massage then getting kicked in the face.

Awesome reaction on this Ren classic! You are right, good storytelling is missing from songs these days. May I also suggest Benjamin Tod doung 'Using Again' a song about his struggles. Independent artist as well . A different vibe with a important message.

My first impression was "Sacrilege!". War Pigs is one of the strongest and most important songs in all of rock. I still feel this is disrespectful tbh, but the vibe is fun, the groove is good, and the solo is awesome. The Crazy Train riff is perfect. The Big Push is great, and both their covers and their originals are all amazing. Sweet Little Lady is a great original, the video version as well as the live version are both worthy of a reaction. And pick a cover you recognize, guarantee you'll love it.

Live no auto tune or help,3 tiny amps and they sounds so good!

Check out “Wade in the Water/Trouble So Hard: Nina Simone” and “I Shot The Sherriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop” which is right before this in the set… Why he says that would be like a kick in the face after a massage.

Great reaction! Love Ren! If you love In the Air Tonight you should check out Blacktop Mojo's cover. It is really good. Done in an old whiskey distillery and the aucustics are amazing plus the singer has such an amazing voice.

The most amazing thing about this song is that Dio, who is one of our greatest singers of all time, could not have done this song like the Big Push does. Just saying, dio could not cover Ozzy, and Ozzy could have never done Dio. Thus, this cover by the big push is so amazing. Just think about it?
