Removing the STANK from my Tesla Model Y (HEPA KING AIR FILTERS)

UPDATE NEW FILTERS: bit.ly/3mfDSG3
Code: GJEEBS saves 10%
This is how to install cabin air filters in a Tesla Model Y and Model 3. Putting in these filters eliminated the musty smell coming out the AC and the technology behind them is very cool. I never thought I would be this excited over an air filter lol.

This might be mentioned in another comment, but you do NOT need to remove the speaker. Even if you can’t get the connector out, once the foot well light is disconnected it is easy enough to work around the dangling panel and replace the filters.

The Model 3 is almost the same if not exactly the same from what I could see. Elon doesn't have a basement in the Model 3 so maybe a little safer overall. I will say for those that aren't in climates with only 30% humidity, you should also clean the evaporator while you are doing this. It's basically just a spray on foam in a can that kills any mold or mildew. I made the mistake of replacing my filters and not doing this and mine still smells of taint. I'd quote my favorite line from this video but honestly you can expect me to choose. When everyone is driving EVs you should switch to being a stand up comic.
