Thank you million times mate, thanks to your video I managed to pull out my aerator easily with the same kitchen fork that you show in your video, amazing tip to save money spending on aerator keys.

That cook fork worked perfectly to loosen the aerator. Thanks for the tip!

OMMMGGGG thank you. i went through about 10 to 15 different videos before finding this. every other one was "just use channel locks and spin it like this!" i used 2 tiny precision flat head screw drivers and rotated it a few spins before it came off. i forgot what a new / clean faucet stream of water was supposed to look like. i eventually broke and got tired of the low flow and ocassional streams spraying onto the counter i had to do something about it. now i want to go do every other faucet smh

I did the same thing! The low flow in the faucet was horrible-- took me over 5 mins to fill a 12 pot coffee maker. Aerator was full of gunk. Much better after cleaning, even better after leaving the stupid thing off for good!

Thank you me and my mom took it off together, however we had to twist clockwise but it still work...

i own my world a little more than i did this morning. i removed this abomination which was inhibiting a swift mixture of hot and cold water. Because my building facilities can't figure out how to reduce the hot water in our building below 150F this alleviated a dangerous condition where hot water was dispensed without mitigation from the cold side

Clyde Tressler I am in a apartment type set up and it was hindering me in installing a water filter. Some of this aerator also restrict water to save “landlord “ from water bills or in that matter.

@@DanOfAllTrades mine was the landlord trying to save money, which doesn't really work as you just have to wait longer for the same volume of water

You’re not gonna find a tamperproof aerator wanna faucet that’s in a typical house you only see them in apartment buildings where are the landlord is paying the water and he wouldn’t want to tennis to take the water savers out. Trust me it’s more of a headache trying to match The space by Bending One of your utensils. Just spend $5 to $13 and buy a tool that removes it. This way if you have the tool, you can remove 4 different styles of aerators

@@hiljon Ensure that if you are looking at it from underneath, you are turning counterclockwise (or clockwise if you are looking from above).
