    I also just bought a new da polisher, liquid elements T4000 V2 pro. 15mm, 950w, 9 meters of cable (354 inches or 29.5 feet, very practical), 2000-5000opm, but the most interesting are the 2 LEDs, green when the pressure is correct and red if you need to lower the pressure exerted. And super well balanced !, next to my other polishers (1 rotary carpoint and 2 da proakcess) it's a Rolls-Royce 😁. The new maxshine looks really good with the soft start trigger! 👍

  • @MirandaDetailing

    @@MirandaDetailing thanks for the info! I may get the cordless then. I usually try to angle up on curves and such and use light pressure to keep things spinning so maybe it wont be too much of a issue for me. I saw where you said in a comment you've used a generic Makita battery and it felt like it had more power....was it a 18v or 20v battery? How is the generic battery holding up? If I had 4 batteries would that be enough for it to run heavy correction continously (where by the time I kill the 4th, the 1st battery is fully charged and ready to go)?

We have about 6 batteries and 3 chargers, so its great, we can do some heavy compounding and polishing with them. You have to understand that you can’t compare a 9 mm with the 15mm , the time it’ll take cutting will definitely vary , max shine are great machines and I recommend it over the G8 and G9 ( don’t get me wrong they are amazing tools ) but close to the Same price you can buy the M15 pro II and the M312 and you get a 5” inch 15 mm and a 3” 12 mm , so 2 long throws for almost the same price as 2 short throws . I personally have owned rupes , and I switched over maxshine because you are literally getting the same machine . Rupes stalls , maxshine it does as well and they improved with the II version. Quality will definitely be different but the maxshine polishers are still great quality for what you are paying . In my opinion gets rupes only if you have the extra money and want to be part of the rupes group ( sarcasm) , but if you want to professionally detail with 2 long throws machines , the M15 pro II and 312 will be more than enough for your entire life

But the only thing it pushed me back to maxshine from the new griots is the weighted screws , when you use certain pads you must change it , otherwise your vibration will be horrible . And for some people may not be a big deal but I’m not looking to change the backing late screw based on the pads I decide to use . For me that extra time I don’t want to waste . But as I said and as he said . It’s up to everyone choice I’ve purchased before Mark ii , duetto , mini, G9 , G8 , M15 pro II , M312 a nd tested the New G15 . Mark III 15 has more pad spinning torque for sure. You shouldn't need to crank a polisher up to speed 6. The Meg's MF finishing pads Phil used contour very well with any polisher. Put a bit stiffer foam pad on the Maxshine on speed 4 and it will stall easily. The Maxshine looks to be very smooth, however. Use a washer with any long throw where the backing plate contacts the shroud.

    Mmmm. I haven’t found that to be the case in my situation. It’s be the way I handle the polisher. I find that both polishers will stall around the same areas. But it’s all in the way I handle it. I have used both...but i like the design of the Max Shine better. But that's just my preference.

    @@MirandaDetailing what about the performance

  • @MirandaDetailing

    @MirandaDetailing

    @@michaelwhitfield609 I get the same performance from both. I personally don't rely on the machine 100%, Its more of my technique with any polisher that makes a difference. I still prefer the MAxshine because of the design. The Torq has a digital display and switch button that turns it on, I prefer a soft trigger like the Maxshine.

    Oh I see. I use 5.5 inch pads on it but it is a 5 inch backing plate. I believe if you want a 5.5 inch or exact fit backing plate you have order one from Buffdaddy.com or make your own.

    Dear phil great video. I have the privilege to test on my chanell the maxshine m8s Version 2 ,first globally..not available yet on the market !!! And i also received a maxshine m15 pro the latest version of this Green polisher. I tear it apart very nice electronics. My concern is that my backing plate is NOT spinning so freely as yours. Inspite i put both the 2 washers mods that was in the case still is not free spinning as yours not even close . I will change also the grease but.....what do you think?
