I was trying to come up with a date for the original barn, it's a Dutch barn design, likely from the New Netherlands Colony, so that makes it after 1620 and maybe as late as 1690. That's a really old barn, the American Revolution would have been 100 years in the future. So at least 320 years old, probably older.

My husband says-- take the grease fittn lid off, loosen the track, let the front idler slide back.Take a bar or a 1 or 1and1/2 poplar pole, stick it in to the angle that will drive the track back. Put the track back on the idler and tighten your grease fitt'n back up and tighten the track back on. No, I didn't know that but my 70 year old, hard-rock miner husband told me once and I asked him again today.

To see the people that are going to preserve the OLD barn and rebuild it and it can still be used is awesome, and great 3 day video, and then you top it all off, with Sir Levi out to slowly inspect Dad's work, was great! Cody making friends with the horses was sweet and funny as well, best part beside Sir Levi, was you backing up on top of some of the debris and having your drone follow you as if to say, " dad, don't leave me here".. Andrew is a one man wrecking machine!, Andrew: "and while I was here, the customer wanted me to remove some tress too close to the house" then goes to dig up the roots, pull them down, and cart them off:-) Onto the next job!
