Looks like pretty amazing stuff! What effect does it have on the underlying wax/sealant?

This looks amazing, I will have to check the cost effectiveness. Right now I'm testing meg's window cleaner for this, believe it or not. Used it once just for being within reach, and it seems to make bug removal into a simple spray and wipe process. The stuff is what, 20 bucks a gallon concentrated 10x? If it keeps working, I am way too cheap to buy a dedicated product, lol.

Hey Scott, is this Seafoam bug remover LSP safe? I've got some customers that ask me how to remove bugs since I stressed the importance of removing these Florida bugs from paint before they cause permanent damage, and I've currently just told them to use some Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover that's in a kind of slimy foam form but it kinda gets messy sometimes, and I'd like to recommend a better product to them.

Hi Scott ... hey, just found your channel ... love it ! I am out in the Mojave desert ... no humidity and too much heat ( I need shade and have little of it ) ... when I use Bugs-B-Gone I have found that I first spray the area to be cleaned with water and make it stay wet for about 2 minutes ... then I hit it with Bugs-B-Gone and let that sit for a few minutes, not allowing it to dry with a tiny mist of water, if needed ... just saying' : ) ... but yeah, Bugs-B-Gone is amazing .... I have used it on wheels, as well as carpet .... I buy it by the gallon at O'Reilly auto parts .... thanks for the great video, as well as sharing all your truthful wisdom ;)

Bug Melt is better, cheaper. As long as it works.

Would you get the same results using a degreaser? Let's just say if you use something like Simply Green.

Hey there Scott I'm hoping you'll see this and be able to answer a question, after subscribing to your channel I've now become a detailing fanatic..lol. my question is I bought the harbor freight polisher and i want to get the Americana pads but what 5" backing plate would you recommend for that set up? Again, thanks in advance.

kevin carmichael well if you use 5 inch pads from Americana you will need a 5 inch backing plate. I use lake country backing plates from autogeek. They also make 5 inch backing plates with vent holes within, I wish I knew off the top of my head what companies make these (perhaps griots)..... I don't necessarily use the venting backing plates on my harbor freight but any of the companies that provide them on autogeek should be fine:)

i just wondering...it it SO dificult for the industry to put those type of bug splats cleaner in a spray foaming can so the product can stay and do its job??? i dont get it i dint understand it why companies insist to use liquid form of products to do this job.............................. this product reminds me the citrol 266 can when you spray it in a very aggresive tar on your older video!!!!!!!!!

marios kosmidhs you are welcome to use a foaming sprayer if you wish. The reason many companies don't but a product into aerosol form is because it drives up the cost all at the sake of making it cling and foam. Also anything put into a foaming aerosol will and does change the efficiency because other chemicals that need to be introduced into the aerosol can so it can foam. It's the reason why super clean in a aerosol cost more plus they need to compensate for the other chemicals that are needed to have a aerosol formula without losing the efficiency of the cleaner
