Thank you!!! I used to work at a place where we would weld these up where the ball bearings would wear away their machined pockets out and then sent to the CNC grinder then to inspection for rebuild and packaging for resale. I never had to break any down until few months ago. I need the outer most Axel stubs for my RWD LLY dually with 4X4 front bearing hubs. Now I'm confident I'll be and to get the bearings out

kbbacon I heated my wrench red hot and let it cool on its own then drilled it ..Would that have the same effect on a bearing ??

Probably. You'll need to let it cool slowly in ashes or hot charcoal and leave it until the charcoal burns out.

Maybe Throw them in a woodstove and dig them out the next day

Please, can worn-out or bad inner cv joint cause ABS light on? I asked because immediately I changed the cv axle joint, I began to hear like cracking nose. Please, what could be the problem?

vboss5764 I don't think Replacing the balls would fix one of these shafts All the other parts would still be worn out.You can find ball bearings online through metal supply companys

+vboss5764 hello, if you find yourself in a situation where you need to replace the ball bearings, then you need to replace the entire joint. if the balls are damaged then the joint itself if damaged. if the boot is torn damage will occur very soon, the boot doesnt just keep grease in, it also keeps dirt out
