I replaced the radio and put the replacement in but it’s not cutting on no screen illumination but the passenger airbag light is on so is there something I’m missing out is the radio bad

really good, the control most of feature in the car, like autolock feature now in camry 2020. I want to change to third party which can ready usb ntfs like pioneer. FAT32 is stupid

Looking at buying a 2018 v6 with the 8” screen but none jbl unit. The stereo sounds like a transistor radio and really is pathetic for a newish car. Will speakers do the trick or is the entire unit a piece of poo ?

I went inbetween the doors and pulled the panels out. The wire leading to the speakers for the rear doors is located there. You can tap into those and run your wire back. Pretty soon I will have a aftermarket radio that I can run actual rca cables to.

Can you please show how you wired an amp to the door speakers

You can but you need a certain sensor for it to work correctly with the dual climate system.

You can add subwoofers to the 2018 Camry but you would have to tap into the rear speaker’s wires. Not sure how to do that so I hired someone. To be more clear, there are no RCA connections on any factory head unit (From what I heard). Only aftermarket head units allow RCA connections to power the sub.
