I am glad you enjoyed the video, waves does have a program for removing breath but it looks like it only works if you're on a mono track it won't work on a stereo track which is not ideal for a lot of people but if you get something like this and you set it up correctly it should do the job pretty darn good

The way waves has the affiliate link setup, when you click on the link I think it does take you to the mean plugin page and then anytime somebody buys something after they've clicked on my link I get like a small commission but I generally just say if you click on the link it'll take you to where you can get this cuz it does just kind of take you to the main site but there's a little search feature on the main site you can just search for the PSE expander or whatever plug in you're looking for, I was trying to ask them if there was a way to get an affiliate link for a specific plug-in but I guess we're just supposed to use the link that takes you to the main plug-in page there

So it's a noise gate. nice.

more of a expander, generally a gate cuts background nose out completely, a expander will generally reduce it to the amount of Decibel's you choose which sound more natural.. this expander seems to do better than others i have tried cutting out breathing sounds.. this was actually designed to be used live..

Basic audio engineering is pretty simple but most of these people who teach you how to do it and make it so complicated, I mean once you get into the advanced engineering that's a little bit different but just adding some compression some reverb some delay or something like this it's super simple once you learn how to use the plugins, EQ can be a little bit complicated but the rest of the basic engineering just to make something sound nice quickly is easy. Now when it comes to finding order versions of the waves plugins, that's not something I'm familiar with, I would suggest contacting them and they seem to have really good customer service I mean I've been using wave stuff for years and they usually get back to me within like 24 hours of sending them a message sometime sooner. I think I would contact waves and ask how you can do that or if they can send you a link to where you can download those, unfortunately I'm pretty sure they said once you upgrade to a newer version of their plugins you're kind of stuck with it but I would definitely contact them ask and let them know exactly what issue you're having with the plugin and they will probably look into it,

@@dannylightning-audio-reviews They have a sale, so I bought Clarity, and Sibilance, but.. both are V14, and that does not run on my macbook Pro, 10.13 (2013) High Sierra. Customer service was great. Sibilance has a V12 version, but Clarity does not. I'm still keeping the license, since I may put it on my PC. I don't upgrade my mac, because I like owning my software, not renting. I'd rather pay $100 one-time price, than $2/month, and forget I have a sub for 2 years, while I'm busy with other things. Anyway... I'm doing VO, so I don't need much. I started using Reaper last week. I have been a 10 year vet of Audacity, but the live EQ on Reaper won me over. I am not using much. I have a Synco SG Mic-D2, plugged into a Zoom H5. I use CLEAR to remove bg noise, then EQ, (then go in and manually reduce breaths, SS Ch, etc), Compressor, limiter, and done. I'm testing Sibilance, and I think it will speed up my workflow. thanks again for your videos.

i have never used a mac, they seem quite nice, reaper is really good.. i mainly use my video editor for audio editing for voice over.. resolve 18 is about the easiest daw ever, it's already set up for voice since it a video editor so lately i just use that for most things. clear seems pretty interesting, i got the demo of that recently.. most de essers do a pretty good job.. sibilance seems to do really good for spoken word i think.. but yeah.. eq, compress, limit, and if needed noise reduction and maybe some saturation are about all you really need for voice over, i main use waves and or fabfilter plugins.. on black friday i probably got 1200 dollars worth of plugins for like 300 bucks from fabfilter, i think i still like the waves sibilance and the Waves WLM plus best for de esser and limiters, i like the fabfilter eq and compressor a lot.. can't figure out which limitier i actually like better tho lol
