can you help me fix this? when i open my laptop or restart it displayed icons which i moved to the right side of the display shows up in the left side and after a sec or 2 it again moves to the right but i don't want it this way i want it in right side. can y help???

The third option worked for me, if you added a “shell icon” in order to remove shortcuts on icons, do the third option. Thank you!

If none of the 4 method works, then delete this %windir%\System32\shell32.dll,-51 and restart. The black square will disappear + shortcut arrow will also disappear. Both disappeared in mine case and not reverting on restart. Try once.

The third one worked, but then I restarted again, and I have the same issue. Same thing happened with my last temp fix which was doing a disk cleanup. I don't know how to permanently fix this.

Method 2 worked for me as I didn't want to go that far into the video and really tried to work with Method 2. I couldn't run the commands because it said I needed to be Admin even though my account was already admin. So I just pasted the commands into the windows search and thus came up the 'run as administrator' and I did all of the commands like that.
