Remote WA - Coral Bay in the Genesis Craft - Hardtop is now a dive platform - Epic Holiday Adventure
With our annual holiday to Coral Bay we took the big Genesis Craft in hope of some good weather and snorkelling, unfortunately we were met with 20-30 knot winds daily (at least the temps were down)........except for Tuesday, so we snuck out for a quick fish in some big swell which didn't make great fishing conditions. So we went for "Plan B", get all our mates to come down to the Beach and use the boat as a dive platform.
The Minn Kota held us on Spotlock for 5 hours in water deep enough the kids could jump off the hardtop and easily get back up the boat stairs, if you're thinking about this as an option JUST DO IT......it changes everything from fishing to fun beach days like this.
We drive through Warroora Station, if you haven't been here yet put this on your bucket list....even with the strong winds you can see how amazing this place is and right on the Ningaloo Reef...wow, just wow!!! Few quiet days spent at the beach and a sunset drive with Coral Coast Tours in the beach buggies....this is a must do and certainly more fun than I imagined. Let me know how many Bush Chooks and Yellow crocs are spotted during the video ha ha ha

Hey mate…..we absolutely love it, it’s turned out being a better purchase than I could imagine. It’s got the ability to be day cruiser ora hardcore fishing rig, great for over nighters or a week in the Montebello Island’s and I’ll be doing an 11 day trip to the Kimberley up towards Horizontal Falls and Montgomery Reef. The only thi g I’m not enjoying is the sky rocketing price of fuel at the moment. But…..I just put it down to a life cost ha ha ha. We are just heading out of our summer and into our good fishing season….so I literally can’t wait to get some serious fishing trips in and show how amazing the North West of WA is. @@lurechucker8186 that’s great to hear and wonder if those guys make a commercial boat too. I lived in the Pilbara for about 7 years and did nearly all those places and it’s so awesome. The price of fuel is what it is and if you want to play, your gunna pay.

@@4wdboatingadventures Not sure on the commercial builds for Genesis Craft Boats. The Pilbara is such a central point for the Kimberley or even further south to Coral Bay....we love it and you're right the fuel is just a life cost ha ha ha
