Remington Premier Magnum Turkey 12ga 3.5" 2oz #4 Test W/ Mossberg 835 & Truglo Gobble-Stopper .679
Today we bring out some of the Remington Premier Magnum Turkey 12ga 3.5" 2oz 4s and put them to the test at 40 yards through the Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag and a Truglo Gobble-Stopper .679 choke. We definitely saw some interesting results from this combo, so stick around and see how it performs!

There are plenty more on the way!
❤ 👍
I am not surprised by this pattern; it is about what I expected. I would not seek it out, but if it is all I could get my hands on, I guess it would have to do. I would definitely limit it to 40 yards.

Yep, I'm pretty much on the same page with you there
I wish Walmart would stock more Winchester Longbeards, they stock very few and they sell quick. Remington Nitros will be there until they mark them down to $4 for 10.

Yeah, I see them sometimes, but they always have Remington shells
Great video. I’d really like to know why Remington allows this kind of junk to be sold as a “ Turkey 🦃 Load “.

They are cheap and people must keep buying them I guess
About what you would expect with those shells, not terrible for a true hunting pattern in closer. Have you ever found any 3” lead shells to pattern better than the 3.5” shells out of your 835, or are you finding the 3.5” is superior from that gun? Thanks!

Yes, the 3" Longbeard shells have done great in my testing. I honestly don't see much point in a lot of 3.5" shells these days when the normal Longbeard 3" versions perform as good as they do. It's just not worth the extra cost and recoil that comes with the bigger shell

Good to hear, thanks! I’m going to grab some of the high velocity and magnum versions to compare in #5 and see what my gun likes better. Much appreciated.

@Jared-rw5so just make sure not to get the nwtf 50th anniversary boxes, they have really bad quality control issues for some reason. You'll be fine with the standard black box or the newer black and red box design

Interesting! Very helpful to know though. It sure pays to know the shells you’re using and to spend ample time on the range with them. Thanks!
