Steve Blass is such a beautiful human being. The same compliment applies to Manny Sanguillén. They were battery mates. Sangy caught every inning of the 1971 World Series, including the two complete-game wins by Blass (games 3 and 7). Their love for Roberto touches the hearts of his fellow Puerto Ricans.

Don't forget Blass wrote a song about Hank breaking Babe's record..."Hey Hank I know you're gonna do it but Hey Hank don't hit it off of me"

I was there. 10 years old. Seen Steve this year when they dedicated a portion of the highway near Pirate City to Roberto.
