Let's remember our fathers/grandfathers and mothers/grandmothers who were drawn into the greatest conflict in history 82 years ago today. Please think about what they went through to defeat evil. Don't let the pettiness of the radical elements among us take away from all our origins, those who were born after that day, we all owe our existence to that day. RIP brave people, we will remember you.

The Yorktown wasn't exactly undamaged. It was something of a miracle that she sailed after the damage she sustained at coral sea.

Pearl Harbor, while terrible, was NEITHER a surprise, NOR unptovoked; we just didn't hear the entire story, or have declassified documents until much later after this program. I KNOW how this sounds. Please bear with me. This program touched on the attack by the British Swordfish biplanes against the Italian Navy at Taranto, on 13-14Nov1940, just a year earlier. THAT'S where the IJN LEARNED to use "wood-fin" torpedoes. FDR knew of the Japanese spy on Oahu, by way of J.Edgar Hoover. There were supposed to be 3 attack waves; only two were ever launched, due to the first wave's inability to locate the carriers; which was the #1 priority targets. For the carriers to NOT be caught in the attack, they had to RECEIVE orders to PREP for departure BEFORE the IJN taskforce left, so that we would be READY to depart AFTER they left, but BEFORE they arrived, as their attack force was on "radio-silence". Preparations for movement of a carrier TAKES TIME. The second attack wave LEFT, before the first wave RETURNED; which was WHY the 3rd wave was NOT launched, and Nagumo opted to "shoot n' scoot", rather than risk being discovered; like what HAPPENED at Midway (Jun42); the IJN lost FOUR carriers at Midway; the Hiryu, Soryu, Akagi, and the Kaga. The PH 3rd wave was ASSIGNED to hit the "subpens", the drydock facilities, and the Fuel Depot Storage Area; had they DONE so, the US would've been SCREWED. The subs hunted the supply vessels; the drydocks repaired most of the damaged ships, and the Depot was untouched. THAT was the context of Yamamotos famous quote re: the "sleeping giant"; 1/3 of the attack DIDN'T happen! It was Robert Stinett's book "Day of Deceit" that explained IN DETAIL, WHAT was known, WHEN it was known, and HOW. The 2 Cmdrs Kimmel and Short, were PURPOSELY "cut-out" of the intel-loop, and DANGLED like live sharkbait. We knew for a LONG TIME the attack was being PLANNED. Once the attack-force left, they were committed. Our carriers were on a 24-hour standby to depart, once they were ready. Did we know the EXACT time and day? Who knows. But they knew when the task force departed the home islands, and FROM that, had a window of 2-3 days to expect the attack. The REASON FDR ALLOWED the attack to happen, was because of the Tri-Partite [Axis] treaty with Germany and Italy, and the need to SAVE Britain from being strangled by the U-boats. If Japan attacked US, WE declare war against Japan, obviously. GERMANY then HAS to declare war against the US, by obligation of the Treaty with Japan, so WE can go to war in Europe; all with "clean hands", of course. According to Stinett's book, we drafted an 8-point plan to PROVOKE the Japanese to "fire the first shot", according to SecWar Stimson. It was done THAT way to keep it CLASSIFIED forever. If you doubt any of this, research Adm Harry E. Yarnell, and what HE did in a naval exercise, AT Pearl Harbor, on 07 Feb1932. I wonder WHO'S plan the IJN used, and "tweaked" for the actual attack.... How about the Flying Tigers over China; THEY were paid a $500 bounty for every Japanese plane they shot down over China; well BEFORE the Pearl Harbor attack. If ground forces ratio of 8:1 personnel are close, where did the MONEY come from for Chenault [the CO of the AVGs, aka the "Tigers"] for the ammo, food, medical, fuel, maintenance/repair/parts/Admin/support personnel, etc. Combat tends to tear shit up, and it costs money to fix and resupply. Did we need to know THEN? No. There were BIGGER THINGS at issue. If Britain wasn't saved, where would we have launched bombing missions from? Where would we have staged D-Day from? Britain HAD to be saved. That means we HAD to be able to go to Europe. Without the bombing missions, Germany's supply lines would remain largely intact, and Germany wouldve eventually beat Stalin, because Hitler wouldn't have had to divide his forces, as there'd be no D-Day, and Germany wouldve had control of Africa/Mid-East oil. FDR HAD to let Pearl Harbor happen....

When you think of WWII. So much atteocity, over 50 million people died more than all the wars combined. At the Start of the war. Axis powers , Germany , Italy and Japan with Russia supporting there cause with weapons and materials. The Allies including the US were fighting a World War, 5 continents. Our Freedom was at stake. Many Americans at home were worried also wondering if there wives , husbands, brothers, sisters, and friends were alive. The world was in danger of being ruled by Dictatotships and Totalitarian rule where you had no rights of freedom to worship, press, or speech, with due process. Your land could be taken . All human rights dissolved. This is what the world faced including the US. These brave men and womens fought off these tyrants to give us freedom . Bless everyone of them who sacrificed there lives to give us the freedoms we enjoy today. We must never forget them and always be on guard for evil powers wanting to take away our freedom. Freedom it’s a wonderful world but many do not know how lucky they are to have it until you have lost it

All of our family's were in WWII my uncle Mike was at Pearl at the time of the attack & my uncle Edward was held in a Japanese prison camp but some how survived it and came home. All are now deceased, but they gave everything to insure our democracy stood against the evil dictatorships of the world. It's hard to understand why so many Americans want Trump as a dictator when so many gave everything to fight against it. It bogles the mind to think we are so close to being ruled by commies, fascism and authoritarian rule.

My Dad wasn't at Pearl Harbor, but he was 19, and was in the landings of Eniwetok, Kwajalein, and Pelilieu. Right now as I write, it has become Dec 8,2023. I think your understanding of Trump may be in error. I believe in the next 6 months, America will be SHOCKED at what becomes publicly known; at that point, I think it will become crystal clear as to why the DeepState opposes him so much, as to turn all of "permanent Washington", AND the Media machine against him. If I thought Trump was a genuine threat to this nation, I would do everything I could to stop him. Unfortunately, as a Marine veteran myself, I have learned that, with respect to a NUMBER of things, what he have been told, has not been completely and totally accurate, OR honest; including the events at Pearl Harbor. If I'm correct, you will likely see all of the prosecutions against Trump collapse; his Republican competition will step aside, and the DeepState will be DESPERATE to stop him. He will achieve the RNC Nomination for PotUS, and a catastrophe will hit the US, likely with a new bio-weapon, ecomic/grid collapse, and even possibly a nuclear detonation on the CONUS, to be blamed on either Russia, or Iran. God, I hope I'm wrong. We shall see....
