A marvelous talent. Nice to see she was thrown a bone with a cameo appearance in the beginning of "The Sound of Music" in '65.

She was the best kept secret in Hollywood who deserved far better than she got.

I totally agree but it’s nice that we can now give her full credit ; a wonderful woman who made those three “stars” look even more beautiful by gifting her gorgeous lyric soprano voice. In telling her story, she was very honest yet always gracious.

Although we may not know who's behind the scenes, it is those who complete the illusion that makes movie magic possible. And isn't that like Hollywood to hide the real talent? I'm glad she was finally given some accolades, albeit late as usual.

Just one more example of the suspension of disbelief when it comes to 'Celebrity' talent. Stunt men and women got the broken bones - celebrities got the big pay checks. Like the music business - many pop hits were the product of The Wrecking Crew in LA and The Funk Brothers in Detroit .. oh, and lets not forget The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section and (I think) The Atlanta Rhythm Section. Gifted artists who deserve all the accolades for their hard work. For more on this check out 20 Feet from Stardom - it's on YT.
