REMEMBERING JOHN PRINE
John Prine has long been one of my favorites, along with Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger. His persistent and consistent country-folk style of music and super guitar playing eventually put him at number 5 on the Billboard 200 for his album Tree of Forgiveness. A two time Grammy Award winner, a lifetime Achievement Award, and induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Not bad for an underground singer-songwriter for most of his career. Enjoy this short video and as no money is being made of this video, please feel free to share.

Much Respect John and family. Nice video of a love lost God Speed. Safe travels y'all.
Brilliant singer songwriter never be replaced ,ray twelve strings ,R.i.p John 👍😥
On a visit to Salt Lake from Wyoming in the early 70s, I read Kristofferson's review of Prine in Time magazine, picked up his album, and have been hooked since. I saw John many times in Utah, Colorado, Arizona and California. He always puts a grin on my face, especially live. There will be no more of that but his audio recordings and KZread videos remain, thank God. As do my fumbling attempts to play his tunes myself.
Life is a blessing. And knowing the way John Prine could touch your heart and emotions is a tremendous blessing. I love John Prine and I love this tribute. Thank you so much for posting.
John you’re golden.
Thanks for the video of the best singer-songwriter ever to grace this planet.
Absolutely a SUPER job, Lloyd.....thanks for your loving hard work! KP
Love the pictures of John’s long ( wish there were more) life. He was a man who wrote with an acute touch for humanity’s joys, sorrows, victories, defeats and above all lasting tenderness. Thank you for your time to put this video together with one of so many favorites of John’s “ You’re got Gold.”
Nicely done. He was such a gift. He was as good or better live than on his albums, and that is a rare feat. I encourage others to explore his catalogue.
