Life got chaotic and I just learned of Dave’s passing. I am so sorry Joe; I couldn’t breathe because the world is missing a spark, the lightbulb over the head. And I never met him Joe, so I know your world is never going to be the same. His love for you was obvious to us strangers and I hope it helps carry you through your grief. A lot of good that I have done is a direct result of learning from Dave. And God didn’t shut him up…his words are legend and carry on on in all the things we do right because Dave taught us lovingly how we were doing wrong. Thank you Dave. RIP

I'm just really sad that I just today found out about Dave's brilliance but he's already gone. Thank you for the wonderful ideas shared that we can go on using to improve lives of PWD.

RIP Dave. You were one of my favourite speakers to listen to in these open learning videos because of your no nonsense and straightforward approach on things. I feel like I learnt a lot from your talks about how to really show respect to someone as a fellow human being before anything else and I have seen through my own work the benefits of giving personal space too. So thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. 💐

Rest Easy, Dave. You were a huge inspiration during my recent studies and I’d often watch your videos on KZread or through Conversations That Matter to gain your perspective on different situations in the industry.. your views were always refreshing and based on common sense. Thank you, Dave.

I was going to your blog when I read the sad news. Your life had a huge impact and will still continue to impact others even though you are no longer with us. Not many could say that. Rest easy, Dave. You’ve earned it.

Is there a link to the video at 50 seconds in where the woman praises Dave’s idea?
