Remembering 9/11: World Trade Center worker from Northeast Ohio shares her story with Russ Mitchell

This Saturday marks 20 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This week, we at 3News are taking time to remember and reflect.
Sheilah Rosen, a South Euclid native, was living in New York City on September 11, 2001. She was just five weeks into a new job on the 23rd floor of the South Tower of the World Trade Center when her life was forever changed.
After the events of 9/11, Sheilah stayed in New York for 17 more years, before moving back home to Northeast Ohio in 2018.

This lovely lady has a keen survival instinct. She saw burning papers and she was heading for the steps. Good for you, girl. I hope you have such a happy life. I could honestly listen to the story of every single person in New York City that day. I think every single survivor’s story should be documented. It’s so important to remember their stories.

What an incredible recount. She was so vulnerable and honest, and had such profound responses.
The P.a.sytem wasn't on in the south tower on the 23rd floor.
I’d love to talk to this lady she remembers Pearl harbour and went though 9/11 such changes in one life time.
