Remember the Fallen: The 114th Pennsylvania Infantry Zouaves Commemorate Their Monument
The 114th Pennsylvania fought bravely by the Sherfy Farm and Peach Orchard on July 2, 1863, losing many men in the battle and the Sherfy barn fire. In 1888, the veterans dedicated their monument and solemnly vowed to never forget their fallen comrades and their duty to each other. CWI Fellow Erica Uszak '22 went onsite to discuss this regiment and their ways of honoring the sacrifices made in war.

My G-G-G uncle was in the 114th. He was captured at Gettysburg. He attended the dedication of the monument and I have the commemorative medal with his name on it.
My ancesters fought side by side with the Zouaves. In the 105th wildcat regiment..
Nice job here. Hard to find a time with quieter traffic in that location. She did an excellent job of keeping her voice level and audible. I enjoyed this video and I hope she records more.
Great presentation. Extremely informative. Thank you.
