REMEMBER THE DEAD OF NIGHT | full linocut printmaking process
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
i can finally present to you the entire process of making the REMEMBER THE DEAD OF NIGHT linocut print.
i've been working on this print for the last couple of months, so it feels good to be done with it. i've been trying to make my linocut prints more detailed and i really like what i was able to achieve here, especially with the hair. going forward i hope to make even more complex pieces

I nearly believed I dreamed about this video and get crazy to not found it again 😂😅 Still your video is both useful and terribly mesmerizing ! Seems you're not using tons of tools, what are the size and shape you most frequently use ? Keep going, regards from France.
absolutelly stunning work! thanks for the long process video. I appreciate that there is no music, you can melt down into lino
Wonderful works. I was impressed by the mixing of paint and the use of bone.

hi, sorry for the slow reply, i am using japanese kozo paper :)
Another great video. Have started to use a larger v-gouge as seen in your videos. How many hours did the actual carving take? Thanks 🙏
@emilunderbjerg

@@emilunderbjerg I like it just takes some getting used to using it for fie details. Thanks 🙏
Brilliant. Did you use pressed paperboard for this piece?
@emilunderbjerg
Жыл бұрын
i'm using brown linoleum, but im sure you could use paperboard as well
amazing work! Can I ask, do you find a difference or preference between the brown and grey linoleum?
@emilunderbjerg

i mostly use the brown lino, i dont think there is a difference
I wonder, how many prints can a lino give you before the quality starts diminishing?
@emilunderbjerg

one time i printed around 200 of the same small print. i begun to notice that the edges were starting to crumble a little bit but i could probably have printed another 100 before it would be too deteriorated to keep printing
your work is admirable, can I ask what colors you used? thanks for your kindness😍
