It's mind-blowing.

This shit is perfect, the performance, the visuals, the camera angles....this tune hits you...like a fucking train. When stipe offered to have Kurt stay with him and collaborate, just get away from the circus that was his life at that point. I wish he would have. Imagine how amazing that would be. Imagine Kurt cobain on monster?

I was 19 when Kurt died. He was the reason I started playing in a band when i was 17 and have been playing music till this day as a 45 yr old . Bums me out so much still . He was a great songwriter and voice . Would of loved to see how he would of evolved . Sad.....

I was 16, saw rem live. bought a jagstang right when they came out, before they became squires. we gigged with it for years.

Played by Kurt's guitar... a song for kurt.. my heart..

Still gives me the chills- Saw it twice just like this in concert. thank you.

I remember being blown away by this when I saw them on this tour. So haunting and powerful. Great job!

Monster way underrated.

I had the pleasure of working at Gumby's Pizza, right across the street from 40 watt when owned by Mr. Buck. Someone from there came over and asked if we'd like to see their final warmup before the Document tour. A sheet of blotter appeared and one of the most memorable nights of my life ensued. Ten feet, literally not figuratively, from the band performing the album. Awesome.

Crazy Love for Kurt and for REM, Wow!

The way this video is recorded reminds me of the REMTV documentary. I’m sure Michael had a emotional time singing this song, long live Kurt long live REM, long live Nirvana

Saw them in Cardiff 95 and in 2005. Unreal ❤ absolute geniuses.

I’d always heard “Clumsy crawling out of my skin” as “worms are crawling out of my skin”, referencing drug use, etc. until I heard this live. And then it gave me an entirely different perspective of the song’s closing. It’s crazy how just a few words can change something like that.

I absolutely love how the tempo is slow but his playing seems so unbridled and frenetic. I think he’s playing that particular guitar as it was meant to be played.

I just wish they cld have made some music together my god that would hve been great!! Yes I know they were going to

mike stipe admitted that the session the had planned was an excuse to get him away form all the bullshit that was going on in his life in that last year all the bs with Courtney and the media....... I wish he would have just gotten up and got on a plan and got a way and played with stipe .... was a great guy not to many ppl left in this world like kurt

I thought, that's not Peter Buck on guitar. Doesn't move like Peter Buck, doesn't have the right hair. Thanks to following the link below provided by Martin Pesl, I learned it was Mike Mills, playing Kurt's guitar strung backwards (as Kurt was left-handed).
