Ouch man! You know we all had to laugh. Which is why you lead the video with the head butt. 🤣 Thanks for sharing this rebuild. Very cool stuff done by two cool kids!

Thanks. I figured it’d be good for entertainment. We’re working on the roof transition and sheet metal videos now. The exterior is starting to take shape. Fortunately, there were no injuries of entertainment value. 😂

I am planning on this too! I want to move the door just like you, so you just earned a subscriber, I will be following your build. I also like your floor plan. Keep doing videos please. I want to make the passenger and driver chairs swivel to add more seating space.

Your an inspiration! I was drawing my floor plan to have a bathroom behind the driver area. By moving the door I can have a pass through bathroom that will be big but not used as a pass through that often. And it will close off the front when parked.

I don’t currently have KZread started. I am in Phase One. I really need to find land or a large Shed or Unit I can rent out and work from before I purchase. Been looking and planning. Only limitation for me right now is where to do the build.

I’ve learned of a couple homesteads that have arrangements where you can work on the bus and potentially stay on the premises. We thought about this option but we’re lucky to have access to a friend’s place. Best of luck on your build.

@@artsyreclaimed6821 It's great you can laugh about it. I worked in industrial maintenance for 30 years. I've bumped my noggin to many times, not funny anymore. I say all that with a smile,

Industrial Maintenance, that’s awesome. I’ve been in the trades since I was young. I’ve had the opportunity to build hydrostatic test equipment lately.

@@artsyreclaimed6821 These bus's like to fight...i ran face first into the AC units about a dozen times while powerwashing ours {never seen so much hair in one place...nasty}. Finally hit one AC hard enough to destroy the plastic cover on it, i damn near blacked out. I muttered from the floor...Oh yeah, well the roof just got 4 inches higher if thats how you wanna play! lol.

@@DieselRamcharger Sounds like aircraft workers. Everyone has a few "tomahawk" scars on the ole noggin from looking up when someone calls your name while working around antennas. Just don't go bald, you'll look like an old wrestler! And, yes aircraft like to fight back too. I used to talk back to them. LOL.
