Yeah I need to do an updated video a lot more has been done
Incredibly detailed and thorough. So thorough in fact that I now understand that I don't have the patience to do this conversion. Looks like I'll be buying a bus with an already tall roof

Too cool.
Great project. I hope it all goes according to plan. If it's anything like my projects, there's always a curveball in there somewhere but we just push through and persevere.

No I haven't done a slider install however at one point I was thinking about a hydraulic pop-up but ended up going a different direction
For the first time in my life I wish I wasn't 6'6"...

Nothing really significant, I'm hoping to get the flooring installed soon but I've been busy moving shop locations so no spare time right now to make much progress on the bus.
Part two coming any time soon?

Well, I'm out of the country right now but when I return in June, I'll probably do an update video. I really didn't do much filming during construction of the interior
trying to find the next video and can't, can you help?

Hey Doug, where is a good place to find a completed raised roof bus that is turnkey and ready to hit the road? I have a pretty healthy budget of $175,000 USD. Thanks.

The timing of your question is so ironic. My son and I were considering starting a bus conversation business. I've built two for myself over the years and remodeled several for friends. Do you know what kind of bus you want? Gas/diesel? Length? Currently I have access to a few empty buses ready to convert.

@@ArtfullyRogue Def diesel but we just started learning about them so we're still doing our research. Looking at buying one in the spring. Would like to do a lot of dry camping so something with a substantial solar/lithium setup (3kw+) and large freshwater capacity would be mandatory. We currently have a big 2020 Tiffin so we're used to certain luxuries which would need to be in the bus as well, like a residential 3-door fridge, king bed, large shower, and stackable washer/dryer. The raised roof is also mandatory because I'm a big guy at 6'5'' barefoot and about 245 lbs. I'm the bull in the china shop in most campers.

@@UltimateAnarchy My first bus was gas and I swore I'd never go back. The bus in the video is diesel. A bit more to repair but last much longer for sure. I totally understand the need for certain luxuries. And the raised roof is a must for me as well, although I'm not as tall as you, I didn't like the sardine in a can feel.
that is an amaaaazing bus!! How long is it??
@ArtfullyRogue

This one is 25ft long
You've a puller bus right? What's the noise like? Can you have a conversation without yelling? I'm planning to buy a bus in future----- that's why I'm asking this!😁

It is loud but I feel talking is still possible. I find on long trips it gets warm next to the engine, which is great in winter...not so much in the Arizona summer
Did you get it closed in?

Yes I did and finally started building on the inside. Suppose I need to do an update video soon
How Much Do You Charge. To Raise The Roof Of A Bus?
@ArtfullyRogue
Жыл бұрын
Hello Edward, cost of raising the roof on a bus is dependent on several conditions. How long is the bus? How tall do you want to lift it? Would you only need the roof raised or would we need to factor in extending all of the electric?
