I had to chuckle when I saw the Visine bottle, I'm thinking this guys a genius like me, I use them for my pneumatic air tools that need oil, the cheap oil bottle you get with the tool always leaks so I swapped out the cheap one with the Visine one, and the Visine bottle never leaks. Great tip.
Thank you for putting out a video like this. Your 3 part video of doing a 22 250 is what pushed me over the edge to reload. Thank you sir

More than happy to be a contributor to your new addiction. I've been at it for almost 50 years and it's never lost it's calling. Thanks for Watching.
22-250.....34.5 gr imr 4064, 55 gr speer spitzer. 1/2 inch at 100 yds with savage 110 and factory barrel. Bullet is fine for deer. Shot into water jugs. Penetrated 3 jugs. Lead mushroomed and jacket became a spider and seperated from lead. Both parts entered 3rd jug. 1st two jugs were cut in half. Killed 200lb deer and small ones with this bullet. Chest shot. Usually a pass through. Didn't get a pass through on deer at 175 yds but he dropped within 75 yds.
22-250, my calibre of choice. I use my brass in batches of 50, get between 8 & 10 reloads, then generally I'll get a neck separation. The entire batch is scrapped and a new lot is initiated.Still working through once fired bought ammo, got about 300 new unprimed cases still in their bags ready to go when I finish the once fired stuff, Be a while though, lol, still got about 800 O/F stuff to move, lmao!! On to the next vid!! Thanks for posting CD59, all the best from down under 🙂 🇦🇺 🍺🍺
Wanted to thank you for a great video. My friends and I watched all 3 of your 22/250 loading videos and learnt a lot from you. We were especially interested in the way you took the burrs off the case and chamfered inside of the case. Thank you again.
.22-250 and .243 are my babies. Coyotes and prairie dog slayers. Thanks for the vidoes.
Thanks for all the information and entertainment
Hey, you are really good at that annealing! I'm counting four to five seconds. Gonna try that with some scrap 22-250 brass b4 I go to the "real" thing! Excellent information man! I love that new field shooting bench you got! ^..^~~
Love the grenade on the pegboard!
Hey CD59! Been looking for ya for a while to come out with something interesting and "poof", here ya are! I load for the same caliber! Good idea with the Visine bottle! Thanks for mentioning that! I also run everything by hand as you do. That annealing method is killer!

Probably better re-label your Visine bottle so someone doesn't pick it up and drip oil in their eyes. RemOil comes in a small 1-2 oz drip bottle. That's what I use.
Everyone is worth listening to. Sometime you pickup a gem idea. Like today! Thanks ♥️💥💥💥👍
Love your videos and skills with a rifle. Curious when you were making the inserts for your CZ 17 hornet why you didn’t use the case trimmer to finished off them for a squared surface. Keep up the great work!!
Nice video I anneal my 22/250 and 30.06 cases for my Garand the same way. Can get a lot of reloads out of them.
Wow..you sure know that stuff…very impressive..take care…
I like the vld angle inside chamfer tool. Gives me less trouble with seating flat base bullets (seats smoother, less shaving) the newer rcbs inside outside 60° chamfer tool was a freaking joke.
A new to me savage 22-250 got me in to reloading

Any reason is a good reason.
Thank you sir. I appreciate your demonstration and look forward to watching more of your videos. As I was watching the neck trimmer I thought about maybe using a 0.010" feeler gauge wedged in between the collar and the back of the lathe to set the depth of cut when you lock the collar down on to the shaft. Maybe that would work out to an advantage.

That's a good sounding idea. I'll have to pick up a gauge on my way home from work tomorrow. Going to prep,--- trim, anneal, resize, reload a batch of 6.5PRC brass for my Patreon channel. I'll give it a try.
Hey Cavedweller, great videos, have you got a link to your annealing video? Cheers

I deleted all reloading videos over a year ago when it was rumored Y-T was going to cancel channels that had ammo loading and some kinds of firearm modifying. I just reposted this set of videos, I'll get the annealing one back up also. Thanks for Watching

Parts 2 and 3 are on my Patreon site.
Question are you trimming before sizing? If so why I thought the trim should be after sizing.
@cavedweller1959

That is correct. After the 3rd firing, I trim & anneal the brass, without watching the video, I can't recall if I stated that or not. The pilot on the trimmer is not anywhere close to being as snug in the neck before resizing versus after sizing, therefore it is a lot easier. If you only trim when your calipers tell's you it's time, and you want to fire as many times as possible between trimmings, resize first. Another thing to think of, A perfectly good resized piece of brass, Why force a tight fitting pilot into the perfect neck and spin the hell out of it??? Is that neck still perfect?

@@cavedweller1959 I see where I was confused. Your only neck sizing so it's not affecting the overall length when sizing.
Hey cave dweller .Really like your videos.Been reloading since my first RCBS rockchucker in 1973.Been loading 50&55 gr bullets for a few years but recently moved to Wyoming where I can hunt big game with 22-250 with 60 grain bullets.Have nosler 64 gr ppts.I like the bonded type bullets.Have you any experience with these? And if you have a starting point suggestion for H380 or 4895 powder.
