Hello everyone. I understand the misunderstanding with the thumbnail. I never said Reliance is responsible for the Lithium crash in the video but the thumbnail may create a misunderstanding. I beg your pardon for the mistake. As a very new creator I am still learning, experimenting and improvising on every aspect. Be it the editing, content, presentation or thumbnails to give you the most valuable content possible. I have tried post-changing the thumbnail before and the KZread algorithm had slowed down every video from the channel. I hope you understand. Will keep in mind for the next time. Thanks for all the support.

If Indian companies can master this Battery technology n also electronic chip manufacturing, nobody can stop India becoming technology hub and can give tough compitation to China.
Excellent presentation.Forget the nitpickers. Points for Lithium price crash: * Unexpected lower demand for EV vehicles and hence lithium ion batteries. * Market entry of Sodium Ion batteries which are cheaper & safer. * These 2 factors caused Lithium prices to crash. * But Sodium Ion batteries are less efficient compared to lithium ion batteries and consequently are bigger & require more space to store the same power. * This limitation does not restrict its use in huge transport vehicles, storage banks etc but will limit its use in cars etc. * So, one can reasonably expect that if there is a fall in interest rates, there will be a rise in EV cars demand and a pick-up in Lithium prices. * Reliance meanwhile is betting big on Sodium Ion batteries, having acquired a UK company which will provide it the tech for it. 2:31

U think such elementary study will not be done by Reliance b4 making this investment?
Lowest lithium price was below 40000 in dec 2020. That is not being mentioned. Rather the highest price of 600,000 is being mentioned. 1 lakh yuan is still significantly higher than the lowest price lithium has fluctuated between
Battery technology is still evolving.
My dear friend, you haven't referred about Alluminium Air Batteries, which are also as good as good as sodium Ion Batteries. In France one of the Navy Engineer developed Alluminium Air Batteries, which gives 1,500 KM to 3,000 KM. Does it not enough for EVs. The price of Alluminium Batteries also very cheap & safe to use in EVs.
In short, Sodium ion batteries are suitable for cheap EV cars such as BYD Dolphin with fewer than 300km range, suitable for city driving to and from work.
That's some high quality content full of information, nice presentation and script. I watched the whole video and didn't even realized it. Amazing job, keep it up you will surely get more subscribers.
Sodium solid state batteries will become usable and commercially viable in coming 2 to 3 years Which have higher charge density, light weight, and do not cause flames if punctured.
wow, I just found "think school" level content. Go ahead

IOC was working on an Aluminum Air Battery. What is the current status of the Aluminum Air Battery? Is it shelved?
The biggest and most pervasive challenge to vehicles running on petroleum distillates is the complete replacement kits, either running on sodium or lithium-ion batteries. THIS IS THE MARKET. Take any car that has been produced in the thousands and ready a conversion kit for it. A cost effective engineering solution that turns a car green in very little time, through a network of authorised workshops. The benefits are big enough to allow governments to punitively squeeze legacy auto companies into either shutting down permanently or exploring a different business model.
Thank you for the lovely video...best🎉
Our Indian companies are experts in slow motion when it comes to manufacturing of green tech amongst others. Reliance has bought Faradion, a sodium tech company, but even after more than 3 years , not a single battery has been manufacture by Reliance 😅😅 but look at Chinese companies, they are going full speed and by the time our sleeping Indian companies wakes up , it would be a different game all together. When it comes to lithium rates going down, the reason, is that lithium is though to be a rare element but all around the world including India , we have discovered lithium , so now we know that lithium is not that rare and even if it's rare sodium can replace lithium , so their is no bottleneck, hence the price crash.
Why all are after car batteries? Batteries are also used in every home also using Solar power, shops and other malls, hotels and restaurants and many more places. Where you have space and you are not interested in spending money on batteries sodium ion batteries are useful. Maybe in future alluminium batteries or other batteries may take the place of these batteries but till then this will be useful.
Very educational video. You will help Wall Street analysts with these kinds of videos. Thank you!
Even resources don't work in the world of business. Money matters.
Right now we have to wait for sodium batteries , CATL may have sodium battery in next few months
Sodium ion battery is 40% less energy efficient and 30%cheaper than lithium battery. Hence the scope of replacement to lithium by sodium battery seems weak.
Very well explained. Informative video
even though I already know most of it still your explanation is great .you got a subscriber 🎉

Great explanation for falling lithium prices
Not only mutual funds has to grow in India , also stock market trading and investing has to be decent profitable for 25 years

It is already. Someday india based domestic institutional investors (mutual funds) invest multiple times of fii. Fii will chase these to get good price. So DIIs are synonymous to bcci of the cricket world, DIIs will call shots for sure.that is why indian stock markets will grow by leaps and bounds
If any commodity or stock falls by 80% it might take decades to reach those levels and also technology will be changing fast
You missed the Ladakh factor. China didn't want Ambani -Adani taking over the lithium mining in Ladakh. It would bring in labourers from all over India. China hurriedly released the sodium ion battery even though the anode needs a Sodium-cobalt mixture, just to antagonize Reliance industries.

how about the Graphene battery for future cars, instead of lithium ion?
I remember Reliance also buying into an aluminium ion battery technology.
Very well researched and presented exposition. You desetve more than 1.6K subscribers. I hope you get more exposure to readers. Best Wishes and Thank you.
Sodium ion battery energy efficiency is increasing and its ability to super fast charging allows to incorporate smaller batteries which will bring down battery cost further and increase Sodium ion battery demand .
Toyota has unveiled an engine which runs directly on Hydrogen. The technology is so good that the Japanese government has said that after the trial in 2024 they would replace 40% by 2026 and by 80% by 2030. This is a big game changer provided the geopolitics.
@anmoljoshi557
2 ай бұрын
There is just one issue with it, hydrogen is very light, so under normal circumstances you would need the fuel tank the size of a truck to run a car, the solution to that Toyota came up with is High pressure cylinder, like Toyota mirai, which has 10k psi, however crash test of such high pressure hydrogen cylinder has never been done and it's a huge challenge as to how the cylinder and hydrogen will fare in a car crash. But Toyota will most likely tackle that problem as well. However hydrogen is better suited for heavy vehicles only. For light vehicle it's either EV or series hybrid cars are the best option.
Nicely explained keep up the good work. EV sales won't rise up to the prediction level.
Good job done, your explicit talk with deep understanding of subject is useful to us, such as a layman.
Excellent presentation with very understanble graphics. Really a very important subject
There is a lot of research happening in sodium ion battery tech and probably lithium prices will remain stagnant for a while.

Its not 'lithium' that the market is dependent upon, its the refined battery feedstock. i.e Chile, Australia, Argentina, USA have lithium. Its the refining done in China. Great analysis though.

U need to add toyata innovation of hydrogen based engine. They have announced that they will not go for total EV but hybrid. This is in advanced stage and production might start in 2025.
Subscriber No.166 ❤ keep it up bro

One thing this Lithium price crash may be a boon to Ev industry....the more the Lithium price will fall the more the Lithium battaries will be cheap. Lithium was a very valauble metal before this price crash making Ev cars expensive as Lithium battery used in it . Peaple will now be able to buy Ev cars in affordably low price because of cheap Lithium battery.
Very well presented and appreciated.
Great info...well done

what nonsense. no correlation between lithium crash and reliance. you yourself said that sodium batteries cannot be used for EVs and that lithium is almost exclusively used in EVs and demand of EV has crashed. there is no correlation

In EVs, suppose, only lithium battery is used. But because of price advantage, bigger vehicles/charging stations etc, would have switched to sodium batteries where Reliance was one of the major suppliers. Hence lithium battery demand declined further and price as well. Otherwise price fall would not have been so steep. There appears to be a correlation. I have no reason to doubt as his whole video is so authentic. In any case, let's use a decent language. Also accept that there may be something that we didn't understand.

I disagree with this line - "what nonsense. no correlation between lithium crash and reliance." Where the hell did he mention about relation between the lithium crash and reliance. As far as I understand he only said, Reliance has acquired Faradian Limited. He never said Reliance has brought the Lithium demand crash. Since Sodium Ion Battery is also possible, although not feasible for cars. Hence light weight Lithium is an ideal candidate for the lightweight EV car model.

Lithium is also used in laptop batteries… If sodium iron batteries cannot be used for EVs, there no reason for lithium to crash so badly…

very good knowledge... I am a subscriber now.
The thumb nail is misleading.
mentions at the end that Sodium Ion batteries are 40% less efficient. So obviously wont work for Automotive batteries. What is Reliance upto , then?
Same is going to happen with the 'gold' too... 🔥

Even if gold price drops by 2%, there will be such a massive buying, it will lead to a stampede. Gold is fundamentally different from any other metal. It is the rarest non radioactive metal. Gold can never be in such a supply that will meet the desire of humans to possess that shiny yellow metal.
