It is great Vacuum Ironing Board that is designed for home use with a mind of a professional. Pressing on a regular ironing board eventually leads to a damp ironing surface, making it impossible to get a clean, crisp finish for your garments

Amazon has them, they have them on there website i thonk they just change the model number on it

550 is now discontinued per Reliable. Amazon is out of old stock. 500 will still be made. Explanation from Reliable is too much confusion between boards since they are so similar and the 500 is the one they decided to continue making. No "better" replacement coming, no new more powerful or better feature board coming, just downsizing / streamlining the product.

The diference was to best of my knowledge a little more powerfulp motor. But thats about it. They are however very reliable
Mine died after 1 year and maybe a couple of weeks. Reliable has not repaired it or replaced it. I wOuld Not buy anything from them!
