Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This week I will show you how I created this beautiful black dresser! I also used the opportunity to show you how I use furniture painting as my therapy still to this day. This dresser was the result of a stress-full week and ended up becoming a beautiful dark/rust tutorial. I hope you guys enjoy the video!

Yes dear KACHA.....I started painting vintage furniture for therapy from anxiety and chronic pain as well as slowly moving my body with painting ...Plus with the Covid and me being disabled and a high risk with the virus ...Painting artful furniture is my outlet ...Keep ur head up dear and Keep smiling....you're a true inspiration to me...god bless
The second that patina paint hit the dresser I was like "Oh my God, yesss!" I see your vision, my friend
I loved it all black. Different strokes....you're so much fun to watch. Very relaxing. I'm too old to paint now, even though I always loved finding an old piece to re-do. Thank you!! And you're beautiful!!
Kacha you are very therapeutic watching you paint the dresser is absolutely gorgeous
So glad I discovered your “channel” ! Amazing art therapy- beautiful! I am a 53 year old watercolor artist- with some disabilities (Rheumatoid arthritis) finding that my shaky hands are better at larger art projects. You have encouraged and inspired me! Take care, God bless!
So precious, Katie, totally heartfelt work and those of us who follow you and love you felt every bit of energy, emotion, sadness and love that you put into that piece and we were right there with you.
The piece is beautiful. Thank you for being open about past depression and still having bad days or weeks. You always seem so happy and it's obvious you love what you do. All your work is amazing. ♥️

Agree completely … like you, I keep busy to keep my mind from going to dark places! Thanks for the great video!
Kacha, thanks for sharing what painting does for you and how it can bring some peace to some dark emotional times. Your videos have rekindled my love for refurbishing old furniture. I am now sourcing excellent paints, brushes, waxes, etc., and watching some of your tutorials several times before tackling a new project. I am having so much fun and am giving new life to some of the great old pieces I have in my garage. I have sold two pieces and the "clients" were joyful as they loaded them into their trucks. Keep inspiring and teaching us. You are fantastic.
Painting is so therapeutic. It always makes me feel better. I hope you felt better after this project.
Just saw this one!!! Love it soooo much!!! GOLD!!! I used to paint furniture but now my art is doing collage and making jewelry. I love putting my art in frames I paint or design myself and I always use metallic paint. My favorite right now is copper and blue. You have made me want to paint furniture again...
Kacha, you are an amazing artist Every piece of furniture you paint is always unique. I’m excited to watch you paint that dresser. Thank you 💐

You need a TV show, the home improvements have taken over, this would really fill a nich
Wow. You truly are a genius. Funnily enough I have been painting faux rust using paint. It is certainly like therapy. I know what you mean. It's like, your mind drifts off. And your hands just keep moving with the brush. As if in a beautiful meditative trance. It's so good to loose ourselves in art. Keep it up x

Beautiful! Dark and sad and lovely all at the same time. Many times I feel so sad and dark for now reason and painting g always helps. My things never turn out as beautiful as yours but you continue to inspire me each week and I’m so happy to see that I’m not the only one who has dark days!!
I love your openness!!! We all have those days and can relate. What a beautiful way to turn ugly feelings into a magnificent work of art. Just love love it. Great therapy.
Turned out beautiful you did such a great job and what a beautiful way of pulling yourself out of the depression I work in my craft room Minecraft and I love it it helps to keep me out of my depression thanks for sharing God bless

I love this piece... trying to see if I am bold enough to try and do this to my desk that was given to me after my grandmothers passing. God I love this.
You should have your own tv show. Love your stuff. Going to try out this one and the purple one.
Yes love this look! It looks like it was made that way, like a custom piece! Thanks for sharing!
Oh absolutely!!! Love just putting brush in hand and getting lost
You are so adorable. Not my favorite piece, but then again, we all need to vent on someone or something. Glad you are feeling better. All true artists go through a dark period. So don't even worry about it. Love you!
I create as a form of therapy. It has saved me from falling apart so many times. Your dresser turned out beautiful and clearly was a piece of therapeutic art for you. Glad you feel better 🥰 keep sharing your beautiful artful pieces, you are an inspiration 🙂

I could feel the transformation...... very cathartic. Good for you, Kacha.... thanks for the free therapy.😃
I know what you are talking about and feeling SO well. Painting affects me the same way! LOL!!!!
Other furniture artists have said the same about depression. I am estranged from my 28 year old son and rarely see my 3 young grandchildren. I have been to the darkest place possible. I am watching lots of KZread videos and setting up to properly upcycle furniture which is giving me focus to help take my mind off my sadness ❤️
Its beautiful KACHA, I woukd of never guessed to choose those colors, turned out cool, the copper really makes it stand out, and you have the cutest laugh!! And we also love you🥰🥰🥰
I feel this completely … you expressed everything I feel in my heart in this moment … thank you Kaćha…❤️ May the days that come be lighter…
Kasha, absolutely beautiful! I started painting after my dad died.....I was numb and hurting. After watching you, I got busy and painted. God knows our hearts and will guide.

Looks amazing!! I’ve painted my entire house and still have furniture projects in my garage to do for “focus”! Hope you’re feeling at peace now! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Glad you are happy and thanks for sharing dresser looks soooooo cooool
What a transformation! I love how you suggest that we tap into what our unique expression is. Very helpful and a beautiful result!
Hello Kacha from Texas, You did it again!!! It is beautiful!! You are definitely talented when it comes to color. I have a dresser that I want to redo, something like this dresser you redid!!! I have had mine for about 40 yrs and it is time for a change, then you came along. Thank you for your guidance. Cannot wait to see what you get next.
Your spirit is so joyful and so fresh and honest and transparent. I’ve watched several furniture painting artists on KZread and now you’re my favorite. Art is therapy and I never thought about painting furniture as therapy. Thanks for the great tutorial and showing us how to transform darkness into beauty. 💜🌈
Beautiful. I’m so grateful that I found your videos. Painting furniture is my love in life. It keeps me sane

I love this peice!!! I absolutely love when you do all the extra layering!!
I was mesmerized by your story and you're painting I couldn't even blink...
I love you too Kac’ha! This is a masterpiece Sitting with negative emotions takes courage Channeling them into a creative project is ART.
This looks so Beautiful. Love the layers of color. Sometimes the dark moods turn to Beautiful art.
Painting is the best therapy
I’ve watched dozens and dozens of your videos. This is by far and beyond my favorite. It’s understated, so much skill went into this dresser. It is totally transformed.
You don't know how much I relate. This past week has been one of the worst of my life and I haven't felt like talking about it. Instead, I have been working on an old oak cabinet I found at Goodwill. It has helped get me through a very tough time.
Amazing...taking it to an entirely different level of beauty. And agree with whoever said this in the comments. It belongs in a high-end home .

Love you too baby 🎶🎵 if its quite alright you make my day...🎶 the black dresser is really cool. It ended up looking way different than I thought. I'm sorry you were in a sad mood though.😣 Apparently your therapy produces great furniture results!! Hey guess what I scored at a rummage sale in my neighborhood!! A jewelry armoire!! Thats right!! Wasnt even planning on going and look what happens! Wish me luck now! Have a great week Kacha! Glad you are all cheered up again!!
Wow! This looks so great. I would have never imagined it when I saw the original piece. But like your other videos, I am learning about techniques and how paint can transform furniture like magic. I started painting furniture because I wanted to change one chair. My first piece turned out beautiful and that made me want to do more. That was just a couple of weeks ago and now I want to paint everything. I find chalk paint is very much a stress reliever because it is so forgiving. My second piece did not go as i originally planned, but I kept working on it and now it looks great. What chalk paint and your videos have done for me is that I now see possibilities in old ugly furniture that I never saw before. I have learned so much from watching your videos, Kacha. You have inspired me so much to find beauty in things I would have never seen before. Thank you so very much.

Amazing, @Kacha! We have a saying: " golden hands" but in this case is also a bright mind :) I renovated a grandpa clock, after it kicked my forehead trying to get it down from the wall..I had all kind of feelings _from anger to love - while making it a new and happy grandpa clock. :D

@@KachaFurniture sorry, I forgot to thank you a lot for your workshops, you helped me so much, I have been watching each of them at least 2 times in order to learn how to dye my furniture and I made at least 3 other pieces of furniture based on your lessons. Unfortunately in my country there is no Dixie Belle, Annie Sloan only in 3 cities and it's pretty expensive, so I used Pentart.Thank you again! :)
Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!
True nothing more relaxing that go to my garage and spend hours painting ..... I love it !!!!!!
You are real artist, beautiful. Watching helps my anxiety and stress.
Looks beautiful! 🖤🤎🧡❤️
All I can say is wow! I don't want to call you a genius, because when you reach genius status, you stop growing. Let's put you in the amazing category! I absolutely love it!!! 🕊
Dear Kacha, you are so inspiring...I feel your passion and your soulfulness and the sense of peace you describe...luv you
Totally agree with us - picking up a paintbrush is therapeutic AWESOME 👏🏻 watching from Bonny Scotland 🏴

Thank you for your videos because they are therapeutic. I like your music choices too! You are truly an artist! ♥️🇺🇸
Beautiful!!! Love to watch you create, especially from your emotions. I also love your laugh. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Kacha for relieving my stress by being able to watch your videos! Love them all! I'm working on a raised stencil dresser for my daughter and would have never done if I hadn't seen one of your videos! Thank you!

What a great post! You are beautiful inside and out, and so is your piece!!!
Kacha that dresser looks stunning. I know exactly what you mean about immersing yourself into something when things are not so great in your head and your heart. It is very therapeutic. When you first put the black coat on it looked like a dark navy but dried wonderfully and i so love the copper gilding on it. It was just a little bit but really helped. I need to watch some more of your videos now as my head is not so great today. Stay safe and stay well. Shirley. X
