Because of you I went out in 2018 and got me one of the last KLR's made. I was told they were not making any more klr's. Because of me my son got him a spankin bran new klr. It has brought us to better understandings and we ride and ride. We are planning a camping trip as soon as south Texas cools the hell up. Keep up the great content and load up with ramen soup n frozen weenies and a can of heart stopping "beef stew" 🍲.

That's so awesome! I'm glad you guys get to ride together too! Haha yeah I'll have to try a few new meals next time. Mmm yeah I've been avoiding the "hot" days here when it's in the 80s lol, not the same kind of heat as down there!

It's so nice to see a Father and Son doing so much together. You guys are great together, and people could learn a lot from you and the way you are together. Congratulations on your first comfortably successful camping trip. Keep the videos coming I really enjoy them.

Thanks man I really appreciate that! There was a time when we didn't get along as well and didn't spend as much time together, but it's sell easy to forget that not everyone is as lucky as we are!

Idk if you’ve figured this out already but there is a small wire key/valve on the side of the jet boil that adjusts the gas flow which you can use to turn the gas flow off and on without removing the fuel canister

I’m glad that camping trip was better experience , bugs are pain in the ass lol the 701 was the better choice to bring

Me too! It was sooo much better and actually relaxing for a change lol. Yes definitely, 701 seems to be a good choice for the majority of the rides I take. Could be a little less viby and more comfy, but it more than makes up for it with performance and nimbleness.

I’m stuck between the t7 and the 701 and need help deciding. I would need something that could do my commute(22 miles at about 75mph) in Texas heat. Better question how many highway miles would you do on the husky 701? Thanks

Yes, you remove the pot not the stove… to turn it off you turn the valve on the stove…

Thanks!!! I was told it was from a 690. I tilted it forward to fit my GPS by putting some longer bolts on the top with nuts as back stops. I'm 5'10" with a 31" inseam and it works alright. I still get wind at about chin height, but I'd assume that's mic better than stock?

I have a 2023 701 enduro - found an aftermarket zeta windscreen which honestly does too good of a job, not enough airflow for me. Looking for something in between - lmk about those mirrors ! @@SwankyCatProductions
