Agree - I've always been a sucker for the beginner asmr videos too, the imperfection and slight background noise or mic static was calming sometimes. I still enjoy her newer vids as well of course, they're on another level of calm! But the older ones will always be in my asmr playlist, from all the other asmrtists as well

I 100% agree! To be honest, I prefer her early videos over her newer ones. I like a few of the newer ones from a few yrs ago but there’s nothing quite like her early videos 💕 The small imperfections made and her accent back then 😍.. for me was more relatable in some way and just more comforting and relaxing to watch over her now polished perfected videos. I mean that’s just me though.. I know many people love the newer perfected videos of now. But not me. I’m old school

It's been 9 years man, yet I keep coming back to this. At night it's on repeat if I really want to just lay and relax. Lol

I first started watching when I was a freshman in high school and now I am an adult with a career. Its crazy how time flies and I appreciate that this channel is still going strong

The year is now 2021. This is still one of the most relaxing ASMR videos out there

Even though you have done so many, this is always my “go to” video! Always calms me when I need to relax or sleep, it’s very natural & sweet and has a nice “things going on in the background” feel to it.

I discovered ASMR in 2012 after my flat was burglared in the fall of 2011 and I was so scared they'd come back I couldn't fall asleep. I remember watching this video, which still feels so relaxing even after all these years. And you are still one of my favourite ASMR'tists, Maria. Thank you for all those videos.

Have you considered doing a video as a bank teller/person? I signed up for a savings account yesterday and was falling asleep. She had a soft voice and a hint of an accent, her nails on the keyboard, pushing phone buttons and writing. This is one of my favorite videos. I’ve watched it over and over (and over) for years. Even though I know exactly what happens, the intro still affects me. The creaky monitor, the typing, the phone buttons...I don’t even care that the phone doesn’t ring! Old school ASMR is the best.

I’m watching this December 22, 2019. Who else still watches this one. One of my favorites.

I love Maria's new videos, but her older ones like this are just fantastic. It's just the way she speaks and sounds in the older videos, she doesn't sound like it anymore. English is a second language for Maria so pretty sure she accidentally flipped the scale . Which would make sense since generally #1 is considered the best or highest achievement. I come back to watch these older videos BECAUSE of the white noise the low quality mic has. The "low quality instructional video" aesthetic is GOLD!

It should absolutely replace sleeping meds. The body doing what it’s supposed to by using something with no side effects and just a slight chance of addiction 😁 is wayyyy better

All these years later and many, many nights enjoying your videos and this is still my most favourite video that I watch often. Fantastic.

I still come back to these wonderful oldies, there is something comforting about the not so perfect sound and the typing/accent is just perfection. I sometimes miss the good old ASMR days 😊

this is one of my favorite Maria videos. I consistently find myself coming back to this.

For being one of the foundations of ASMR, she honestly has no bad triggers. We love a consistent queen.

I literally still watch this video once every few weeks. This is the best ASMR video I’ve ever found; and yes the older microphone sounds better. Watching this in September 2022

This is one of my all time favourite videos. I remember knowing I could experience ASMR, watching videos on YT that weren't intentionally relaxing, and then stumbling across your channel. It doesn't seem as long ago as it really is. To this day I still haven't found an ASMR video that has the lovely sound you make as you move the stethoscope across the skin. I also remember being so blown away by your props and surroundings and have always wondered how you managed it. I'm guessing you were at your workplace. I honestly think I know the words to this video by heart. Thank you for your videos. I've had hours of peaceful sleep because of you. :-)
