The commentary is great honestly. You aren’t yelling and it honestly feels like we’re having a conversation. Love it but will support on the second channel!

You could have villagers on this island who have the nature hobby. To see them tending to the flowers and plants and studying them would be so sweet 😊

To answer your question from near the beginning of the video, I'm not actually doing anything while watching this long play. I've had an incredibly anxiety inducing day because of my college just being disorganised and I feel physically ill now so I need something to relax to. It also actually puzzles me that Minecraft style longplays haven't made it into the ACNH community because they fit super well. You're the first I've seen do them.

Yayyyy! I have been looking forward to another longplay with commentary 😁 I love them so much! You are so underrated Malin. The amount of time, effort and dedication you put into entertainment for us (people you have never met) is astounding! We appreciate you so much! I was having a really rough day : I have a cold, it's "that time of the month" again and nothing was going right for me. But then I saw that you posted and by golly, my day was improved a bit 😄 Only watched the first 10 minutes but it still made me really happy. I can't wait to watch the rest! I know that you have struggled in the past. You haven't felt well, or you've had burnout or lack of motivation or you were going on vacation and wouldn't be able to post, and you ALWAYS apologise. But you don't need to. You are more than a content creator, you are more than our FAVE acnh youtuber. Malin, you are our friend ❤ We want you living the best life you can, so don't feel pressured to create when you don't feel up to it. We will ALWAYS understand! I did love Calathea, but I definitely understand the need to have a fresh start, so I'm rooting for Oleander, as well. Green is my favorite color, and I love plants and neutral colors too, so this theme for both is right up my alley. ❤ Also, I'm drinking my coffee (decided to sleep in today) and snuggled up playing Pokémon right now while watching. :) Shiny hunting, specifically.

Yesss I’ve been looking forward to more long plays! These are always really nice to have on in the background, especially while playing animal crossing. I’m working on my own island while listening to this, actually!^-^ I’m really excited about it so I’m sorry about the rambling about to happen, haha. The idea for this particular island is that it’s a massive, magical forest for a coven of witches. Or… most of it is. Recently, Tom Nook and some new faces moved onto the island, breaking ground and turning a portion of it into a little town, unaware that the island was already inhabited. This angered the coven, especially the coven’s headmistress, my resident rep. So the witches start messing with them in an attempt to get them to leave! Enchanting their town flag so that it reflects the witches, cursing all the villagers so they always call the island the name the witches gave it, (it’s name is Spiderfen!) and enchanting the town tune so it’s something the witches approve of. The headmistress always leaves a message on the town’s bulletin board to tell them what’s happening. (And so that DA visitors get an understanding of the story.) It’s my first time doing a story heavy island, so it’s been a lot of work, but it’s so much fun. It’s shaping up to be my favorite island I’ve ever done! ^-^

i loveee hearing you talk in your long plays i love hearing how your brain works and it inspires me to be more thorough with my planning… i just restarted so perfect timing and im doing an all blue and white island :)

It took me dayssssss to finish this video but it was so good!!! Please keep Reneigh and Ozzy as villagers. They are so cute on this island 😍 Also I like the pops of blue flowers in the areas you did. I think you should do a pop of color (not necessarily blue each time) in all the little areas like that. I can’t wait to see the big builds!!!

Hi Malin! :) This is the first long play that I've watched and I love it. I recently got back into ACNH and I'm trying to figure out what kind of island I want. Fall core is typically my go to, but I'm trying to find something different for this new island. Maybe summer core? I don't know. lol! I love how you really put a lot of thought into your island. That really caught my attention when you mentioned how the creator of a botanical garden would try and make it accessible to all, so you used the natural incline. As someone who uses a wheelchair that really warmed my heart. Thank you so much for your videos!

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, because I thought it was very cute and relatable...I love that you're making a Botanical garden, but couldn't remember the word botany (the study of plants). I'm always impressed with people who can vocalize all of their thoughts and gameplay in an entertaining way. You do a great job and are obviously engaging if I'm over here yelling botany at my computer. Hahaha.

In the area where I live there's a botanical garden that is more natural park. You don't feel to be in a artificial constructed area. Only the greenhouses are speficially designed and stocked with rarer plants. So I like the idea of a natural botanical forrest garden. 💜
