I live in Malaysia which is South of Vietnam and I it's so cool that your dad has a lot of the same plants that we have here. The hibiscus is our national flower, and lemongrass, Thai peppers, and kaffir lime are everywhere here too. It's kinda painful to hear about how expensive the kaffir is over there 😭 OH my goodness we have bitter melons (but call them bitter gourd) and we stuff them with meat exactly like that! Also I realised that we use rau ram here for our laksa, we call it daun kesom or laksa leaf. It's really pungent to taste by itself but in laksa it goes perfectly.

Thank you for sharing this lovely video! I love your mother’s shopping strategy - if she can’t make up her mind, buy both! I can so identify with that. I would never leave your dad’s garden - I could be a permanent gnome, if he would agree! All those beautiful fruits - made my mouth water - especially the figs (!), peaches, and apricots! He certainly has a magnificent, peaceful sanctuary. I used to love strolling through my dad’s garden with him - there is just something so special about those memories. Again, thank you, your mother, and your dad for sharing!❤️🌱🪴 Needless to say, I love all your videos!

Hey Benji, I think i know why you haven't been getting kiwis 😅 Kiwis are diocious, they're not like most plants, where the flower has female and male parts and each flower can pollinate itself, or where the plant has separate female and male flowers, and the plant can use the male flowers to pollinate the female flowers. In kiwis, each plant gives either female or male flowers, so you need two plants, one male and one female to pollinate flowers and produce the fruit. Hope this helps! :) ♥️

Thank you for the tour of your lovely parent’s garden. I really loved your dad’s edible garden, beautiful and any level of self sufficiency is really appealing. He has achieved so much, wow so much produce in a small space. Seeing you prepare and eat the homegrown food at the end was so satisfying.
