I lost my wife 2 months ago. This is my first Christmas alone. I've spent the day and evening thinking about all the great times we had especially during the Christmas season. Music has always gotten me through the toughest times in my life and once again, tonight, Christmas Eve, I'm finding comfort in this wonderful music. I pray for those hurting like me tonight. May peace be with all of us.

Memories of Christmases in the 1940s when I was a girl in the north ; there was always snow a foot deep. We always sang these songs in the Church Christmas plays. Knowing these were songs all about the birth of Jesus Christ and What HE came, here on this earth in a human body, to do ! Very soothing !!!

Nice to listen to and be at peace in our innermost being.

We're sitting with my wife's mom who has extreme dementia. As the music plays she becomes completely at peace. We have been praying that she will not be afraid to go home with Jesus. We think it is close now. Thankyou Lord for Thelma and our many beautiful years with her.

I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. I'm listening for my first time while headed to Savannah, all I can do is cry :( my mom passed three years ago, she was all I had, she loved Christmas. All I have now is to pass the house I was raised in and remember all the precious memories of Christmas 's . She was 92.

I'm praying you find someone to be with. Being alone anytime is difficult but holidays make it so much more painful. I'm sorry that your are without your Mom. My Mom departed a little over a year ago - she was 94. While we were so blessed to have our Moms for so many years, it doesn't make it any easier - (I actually spoke to a therapist about this because I felt a bit guilty / selfish for wanting more time. I was told to remember that deep grief follows deep love and that is mine - do not feel bad for wanting your person back.) I have a little dog who is grieving right along with me- he stayed by my Mom's side for the last few months both in the hospital and here at home. But along with grieving, he brings great joy, laughter and company. I'm not alone in my daily life with him. Maybe you could get a companion to share your life with - you'll receive unconditional love like a Mom's. I wish you happiness and faith 🙏 . Try to remember that we are never truly alone ❤. God bless and keep you 🙏. Love from a fellow traveler in this life. xo

So sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Mom, I understand your pain it has been 10 years since my beloved mother died but as time passes the pain doesn’t feel as raw, it will get easier believe me. Hopefully you will be left with a deep appreciation of the wonderful relationship you shared, not everyone has that. I pray the Lord will comfort you and heal you, I know you will become more compassionate and understanding because of your life experiences. Jesus understands, He suffered while He was on earth, ‘He was a man of sorrows acquainted with grief.’ God bless you ❤️

It's been a few years since I've had a Merry Christmas. It's coming up again and I kind of wish I could close my eyes and skip it all. After my family split up, including a divorce between my parents, my sister and mom not talking to each other, and a lot of other stuff, it's not the same anymore. It just brings up bad memories and trauma. Nothing against anyone in my family, I love them all but it is harder when you can't all be a family together. Now the only parts of Christmas I love is being alone, drinking cocoa, or listening to music like this while working or driving, sometimes even fantasizing having my own family to do Christmas with. It's some of the only little joys I get during this season now. Christmas is still so important to me, but it is losing its glow year by year. Staying strong and praying for a brighter future and whiter Christmas up ahead.

it can be crushing; everything around you tells you to be HAPPY!! I love Christmas, since a boy. But, I lost my husband in '13, greatest man I ever knew. My family have been horrible to me about him, and about many things. They want to be the perfect group, and I ruin that if I am around. Not whining; my life has been incredibly exciting and successful. But, Christmas brings pain with its own special colors. This year I have chosen to stay in my little nest, alone. I'm going to pretend my Hansel is here with me. Sounds bizarre, I guess, but I'm looking forward to creating a holiday world without rejection and frustration. I sure hope you can do something like this.

Hey man, thanks for sharing. Hearing your story helps me have perspective in my life. I've had similar family issues like with my parents divorcing, and with my family dynamic being less than ideal, but God's been so good. One of my favorite verses from the Bible is Psalm 27:10 "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me." Praying for you! I wish you a merry Christmas as well! :) God bless!

Listening to these Christmas compilation songs brought tears to my eyes. Maybe I am just missing the days when Christmas is different, seeing the kids in the streets with their handmade musical instruments, the colorful lights in every home. When BER MONTHS is here. You can feel the Christmas breeze embracing our skin already. I pray that the generation of today can experience those things again. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video with us. My dad died on my birthday, Dec 27, 2012. This is the first year I haven't cried. I had many people praying for me. My heart is healed, finally. I can think of him now and smile. Thank you for soothing my pain during this Holy Season. I fell in the bathtub and broke my back this year. I have trouble sleeping because of the pain. Your Beautiful soothing Carols have brought me peace. My children are all grown. I am 80 now and alone.

Listening tonight I am reminded of how the last several years have brought the loss of many of the people I have loved all of my life. And I know this will resonate with many of us who are aging. Wondering where all the years have gone. I will tell you that those years live on in our hearts forever. Listening to this beautiful music brings back those memories. I am once again a child experiencing the joys of Christmas past. These songs are as magical and lovely as they once were. And though some of us will feel deeply the loss of those who have left us, may we give thanks for the joy of those precious memories they have gifted us with. Aging has shown me that love is all that has ever really mattered, and is all that ever will. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May this wonderful music warm your hearts as it has mine ♥️

Ahhh... the burst of a thousand emotion we feel everytime we listen to christmas songs. The peace it brings, the overwhelming nostalgia, the sadness of missing and being apart to our love ones on christmas, the joy and appreciation for the one who's with us.

Listening this Christmas tunes really brings back my childhood memories. It was the most happiest time of my life specially when we gather together with my cousins brothers & sisters uncles aunties granpa granma & most of all my parents.
