This is the third and last of the relaxing Songs for the upcoming "Wanderer" Album. It was a very interesting Project for me but also extremely time-consuming and a bit stressful to compose 20min Songs every Week so I'm actually glad it's over now.^^ It is NOT a virtuosic Song, it's meant as Background Music.
As always, 100% selfcomposed on Keyboard. Production made with Magix Music Maker Pro 16.
The Picture is from a free Wallpaper Site.

I live in a small medieval town. Every time I go trail running, I listen your music for 20 mins before I start. After that, rocks and forest have a special colors/taste/perfume. It gives me great energy, and makes me feel like a medieval person crossing the forest instead of bad weather and hard terrain. Thank you

i can say, that such a music don't like people, who listen to the rap, listen to the rock, hard rock, heavy metal.. and so on.. Though i'm not saying that every man of such a people dislike such music. But i know such people :) Everyone has their own taste. As about me, i love music at all (not including heavy metal and hard rock.. and something like that, but i like rock, alternative rock.. and many many other kinds of music. But Adrian's music... I LOVE IT!! Love the most of all. Adrian is the best composer for me. I'm glad that i was born in a time of such a great composer ^^. Adrian von Ziegler broke down stereotypes, because he creates the most awesome music! and in different styles (if i can say that). He has a GREAT TALENT! Not many people can create such a different music, not at all. I personally appreciate his work so much! I can't even imagine how much work and soul he invests in his works. But it is the most perfect ever! Thanks to Adrian many people can enjoy his work. A big THANK to Adrian von Ziegler!!!

I don't see crows as anything negative, they are beautiful, intelligent and useful for the environment. Furthermore I didn't include them into the song for any religious reason but for the simple fact that they are part of nature's sound scape where I live during autumn (Switzerland). Like crickets in spring for example.^^ BUT I did make a second version of this song where I removed the crow sounds, an annotation at the very beginning of this video actually directly links to that song. =)

I remember hearing this for the first time. Three years ago, I was on the maintenance team of one summer camp, having the cheapest of phones with no net, overworked, somewhat grumpy, and overall very lonely despite all the crowds around me. Then brother, who'd also worked there for a short while, left me some ambient stuff via Bluetooth. One Hiroshi Yoshimura album, and two pieces by Adrian here; Autumn Forest and this. With no headphones, most audible were high frequencies, which is to say percussion... and the crows :)). But I didn't complain, finally having some spiritual breakwater against the constant onslaught of entertainment. (I really like the atmosphere of camps in high summer, like small rural cities completely devoted to rest and feelgood activities, but working there for 6-8 months can be really overwhelming at times.) Anyway, these pieces had become my Lothlorien, a place for my tired mind to visit when in need for some tranquility (with occasional grin. _Croak! Creak!_ B); Autumn Forest more at first, being more uplifting of the two, but as the season drew to a close, the guests started departing for homes with ever increasing frequency, leaving camp ever more deserted ... and only then, when silence threatened to engulf me like no amount of noise ever could, when *real* loneliness had finally set in, this song of yearning and sorrow finally came into its own, providing me with much needed catharsis and comfort only sorrow- weirdly enough -can provide. One of the most profound experiences in my life, and one which I'm the most grateful for.

So soothing and hauntingly beautiful...and the emotions that follow...sweetness at the melody, but also a strange sadness, like a feeling that a lot of time has gone by... Heart wrenching and soul touching, but it brings a calm sense of mind rarely found. I don't often listen to music like this, but during special moments, there really is nothing like it.

I have to say, while it's impossible to choose my favorite piece you've made... this one takes the tentative spot for the top contender (Autumn Forest a close 2nd). It would be impossible to guess how many thousands of hours or times I've heard it over the past 12 years. Whether it was while studying, walking, exercising, driving, flying, modding it into games' soundscapes, or as part of my sleep playlist, it's been a comforting constant in my life. There's just something about much of your music, but this one in particular is so calming.

Finding true love lasts neither overnight nor a whole lifetime. There's no telling when your soul mate will pass your very eyes, catching your glance, triggering that tiny slumbering spark inside your heart and fuel that long awaited feeling to bud. Waiting may bring you the feeling of frustration but you'll realize every idle moment spent is sensible once you land in the arms of that person. Love!!!! ... A universal definition and most monumental moment one can ever experience in their life.

I am an Indian and have never been to any Celtic nations ever but whenever I listen to Celtic music places that come to my mind are Scottish highlands, mountains, fjords , snow , evening under a maple tree in autumn and cold soothing breeze playing through my hair . It feels so magical and outworldly , Deep down i don't know why it feels like home , a home i have never been to or seen but feels like i belong somewhere there.
