I received this message earlier this year from my spirit council and I found your beautiful channel to help me with the remembrance of who I am, of who we all are. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. "Experience the wholeness and beauty in a blade of grass, in a flower, in the bird song and its singing not because it has something to say or wisdom to give but just because it can. Experience the beauty around you that is non circumstantial. It shines its beautiful light just to shine its light and to be witnessed and not by humanity but in and of itself, that you are like that, that you are that shining light even if you are just sitting and doing nothing or even if you are in pain, it doesn’t take away your light. The truth of the matter is you have a wisdom that is ageless and timeless and this time in your life right now is one of the strongest times as far as your soul evolution is concerned for you to receive the beauty of what surrounds you as a way that renews you and refills you and helps you to feel whole again. You are a brilliant light with great wisdom on this earth plane and you are here to, even unspoken, to experience the beauty that surrounds you and the beauty that goes unnoticed, whether it is the beauty of the inside of a tree or the stem of a flower that has yet to bloom, that beauty is there regardless of whether it can be seen or not and you have the capacity to allow that in and so we say to you with great compassion and love, look around you and look within you because that is the greatest inspiration. When we look away from the falsehood that is being offered to us and we look within and realise that the beauty that surrounds us is the beauty that also dwells within us, you can start redefining the definition of who you are, and not based on human relationships but based on a universal truth and that is you are endless and timeless." In deep gratitude and love xxxx

@@LawrenceOGrady Thank you ❤️. On Tuesday we brought Mum home. We’ve been able to get a lot of help to do it.She is happier now. She may not be with us for long but that’s all right. I will play her the birds again. She remembers her home in Riverton, Southland and her childhood. Last time she remembered baking with her sister with the birds chirping in the bush. That would have been when she was 10, 85 years ago.

Imagine this, with the songs and booms of long gone birds The Adzebill, Laughing Owl, and the Mighty Moas. Once made New Zealand their home. For more than a few million year. Only to be silenced, in less than a thousand years ago... May their spirits live on somewhere. Deep, in the remaining regions. Of this once, long lost world. Of the Birds

Hi, on this recording i used a Rode ixy Videomic for iPhone. I recorded it on an old Iphone 4S. The mic was higher speced than my phone. It was a tricky process at the time. Since then I've changed my phone, which meant finding a suitable lightning to 30 pin adapter. The Rode is a very well built mic - suitable for recording ambient sound. Rode puts out an updated version with a lightning adaptor. I haven't tried that version, but I suspect it's the same Rode quality. On later recordings I went with a Tascam DR-05. Much easier to use and the quality of the recordings is comprable to the Rode - it's all a work in progress and I'm learning as I go along

I also did the same thing about two years ago with another bird we found on the side of the road that was drunk on berries and had been hurt, he lasted the night and we took him to the vet the next day, he went through a six hour surgery and only lived for a few more hours afterward 😭

What are you going to trap, Predator? They won't be kitties that could possibly be someone's pets, will they? We lived in Island Bay with a lovely tabby and her five kittens! They never caught any birds. In fact, birds are VERY hard to catch for pets, and only certain individuals master it! I think it may be loss of habitat that does more harm to native species...and weather...see my above comment about the extreme effectiveness of Compassionate Prayer in Jesus' Name! (:D
