Relaxed Hair Routine: Tips on How to Avoid Over Processed Relaxed Hair | Lye Relaxer Self Relax Day

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

My relaxed hair routine and important tips on how to avoid over processed relaxed hair when using a lye relaxer to self relax on relaxer day.
Changing my Lye Relaxer from ORS Relaxer to Avlon Affirm Relaxer. How to relax hair at home or how to relax your own hair so to avoid over processed relaxed hair. I self relax with a lye relaxer but I am not a professional. These are just my relaxer tips and i am still trying to perfect my relaxed hair routines especially my relaxer day routine. The relaxer routine helps me to avoid relaxer overlapping and credits go to @Hairlicious Inc and Brianna Rashay for sharing their techniques.
I've had relaxed hair now for almost two years and I've been using this pre-sectioning technique which has literally saved my hair. The neutralizing shampoo hack has helped so much to reduce breakage from overlapping relaxer that results in over processing. Try it out.
There are so many variations of relaxer routines so this is just how relaxer day looks for me.

  • @therelaxedafro7539

    @therelaxedafro7539

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hey Val. Thank you for watching. I didn't deep condition for a few few reasons. The Normalizing Shampoo doesn't have any sulphates in the ingredients and it's description said it's formulated with special "oils to add much needed moisture...". My hair felt unusually soft after the shampoo. So I just followed up with straight moisture products. The whole blends works like no other rinse out conditioner for me and the Cantu Argan oil is protein free and has a tendency to make my hair feel over moisturized if I don't use it with or after a protein treatment. So everything blended really well and worked in my favor 🥰. Oh I have high porosity hair too so proteins are my friends. ( Sorry for the loooong response)
