Q: What is needed to make this fit work?
A:
Good drone (max or close for dps) and shield skills are a must for T6, as well as basic knowledge of abyssal spawns.
It is MANDATORY to have sets of MUTATED DRONES to counter specific spawns in t6. (read below)
Lastly cheap rolled abyssal shield extenders can add extra security.

Q: Why this fit? Why passive Gila and not another option?
A:
Simply, price and effort. Compared to other ship types and active Gila's, this fit is relatively cheap, considering you are completing the apex of abyssal difficulty. A bonus of being passive is you don't have to worry about gankers or neut spawns as much.

Q: How much isk per hour do you make?
A:
Around 400-500m per hour, when collecting most of the subnodes + cache. This is excluding receiving any rare capital shield mutaplasmids (worth several billions each).

Q: I don't have amazing drone skills/still learning abyss.
A:
Stick to t4 or t5 gammas (Which this fit will blitz), whilst learning/training skills

Q: Hardest Spawns/Rooms?
A:
Time is your enemy in t6 gammas and there are two spawns that are a challenge.
Drifter Battleship Spawn (AKA Karen):
In gammas Karen gets massive HP, to counter this mutated Valkyries for damage are used.
Ephilites, drifter cruiser spawn:
With a swarm of these guys, it can be a real grind. To counter this use rolled augmented drones (Preferably vespas). Ephilites have low omni resists, meaning augmented drones can rip them apart.

Q: What abyssal drones/mods should I aim for?
A:
For drones, a little known trick is that any navy drones rolled, gain up to 10% mutated drone spec skill bonus. This essentially means you can give any navy drone a bonus equal to t2 drones damage BEFORE considering the rolled damage stats. Thus keeping the extra tank and tracking of faction drones. Therefore there is little reason to use t2 drones when rolling.
You'll want at least 1 set (2x Drones) of high damage rolled drones to kill battleship and high tank waves.
You'll also want 1 set of rolled augmented drones (preferably vespas) for ephilite, marshal and sansha (not knights) spawns. Augmented Vespas have much better tank and damage than valks and are perfect for killing these waves.
The rest can be rolled faction valkyries (use cheap navigation or tank mutas).
For extenders, keep it under 200m each. PG and cpu allowing, aim for green hp, rest can be red.

Q: What should I shoot first?
A:
Always shoot neuts first, although you can tank for a long time without cap it helps to always have your hardener online. Then shoot anything that is likely to shoot your drones (Eg ghosting kikimoras, anchoring/scramming rats, webbing etc)

Q: Should I go for subnodes?
A:
Yes, but only if you have time. I normally aim to spend 6 mins in each room. By the second room you can tell whether you have time to MTU cans or not. Shoot the cans as you pass or assign drones after everything is dead.

Hello, I have a question, this cost-benefit part, will it be good to put the Gravid Large Shield Extender Mutaplasmid instead of the Unstable ones? (their difference is 2 Gravid for 1 Unstable)

Use mutaplasmid.space to find the right modules. Don't bother gambling yourself unless you have isk to blow and potentially lose.

What are the DPS requirements for drones? I remember doing T6 exotics and getting pretty close calls -- what DPS do you need to safely do gammas? What are the requirements for tank after abyssal adjustments? Will baseline tank work?

Hmm you shouldn't be having issues with exotic times unless you are missing some skills. As for dps having those two mutated drone sets will ensure you can beat the hardest time rooms. As for tank it will work as long as you dont fly silly. Eg fly into kikimora ball. You might need to heat hardner in bad spawn. Again like drones more is better. As in def try to upgrade to cheap abyss hardners FIRST. Then consider HG implants if u want to be able to semi afk the runs.

@@ascendedsuccubus I did miss Drone Interfacing back then and got Drifter BS and Overmind spawns, got out 4 secs before end. And failed firestorms by a long shot in test server. Can you give approx numbers for tank and dps, so I could assemble it in pyfa?
Isn't it easier to use Small Tractor Beam II in high slot to take nodes/sub nodes? And did you considered using shield regen rigs?

Nu the range is way too short. Shield regen rigs are much worse, buffer is 10x more useful.
Excellent stuff man! Thanks for the info! I was wandering what do you consider good rolls on your high damage drones, stats wise?

Well anything above 10% is good for a drone damage muta, anything above 0 is good for any other muta for dmg,

Yes. Eg 2.0 base 2.4 being max roll. I've gotten a few max rolls before in dmg. The bricked stats dont matter vs karen so it's good to save a max dmg pair just for her.

Heya, So for faction drone rolls, honest anything that has positive damage and not too bricked optimal and falloff in combo is fine. You want 1 set of heavy hitters to kill karen. In this case max dps and bricked other stats is fine as u won't really miss the BS and it doesn't go super fast.

I don't exactly remember to be honest as the more important stat was buffer for me. I had a few rooms completely neuted out but didn't fall past 40% shield hp due to the massive buffer.
Can I do T5 with this without mutated Drones/Modules? Can I do T4 with this with T1 Rigs, T2 Afterburner, T2 Drone Damage Amplifiers and without implants?

I'm doing t4's with cheap imlants and boosters a few times now, and with T2 Rigs. Pretty chill, dropped to 20% shield once when I didn't target neuts consequently enough in the Sansha room. No issues with Karen, but I will make sure to manage transversal in the higher tiers once I can afford the implants. Working a lot with overheat (especially at the start of rooms) and Nanite paste (can't heat while other modules are being nanite repped!). Usually finishing with 5 minutes left...

@@wilhelmvonlaer5699 Confirming that you are doing gammas only? EDIT: Perhaps look at getting cheap rolled shield extenders trading fitting for hp for extra safety.

Gila is much better for passive tank as it gets bonus hull resists + more mid slots.
