I think you should collect the sheddings and see if it can be spun into wool for scarfs, mittens, sweaters, hats and blankets. It has a very soft texture similar to the alpaca and I bet it’s super warm too.

Just a little tip, turn your horse into the wind and the hairs will blow away as you scrape.
