That part of "well what if I'm not good?" and "I don't need to know about it" is completely relatable. When depressed, replying "I'm good" after someone asks how you are is just an expected response after a time, because you come to find that the world quickly tires of your "not fine" status when it lingers for an extended period of time.

The fact that English speakers actually consider it a normal greeting disturbs me. Just.. why.
I thought I was the only one that was driven crazy by the sound of dogs licking things. It didn’t seem to bother anyone else! I thought I was a bad dog owner for that.

You are definitely NOT alone. It's called misophonia, and lots of people experience it! At times, I've had to put on music or go hungry, because I couldn't bear the sound of MYSELF eating. Ack! 😀 What really helped was learning hypnosis. Now, I can 'turn down' the volume on unsettling stimulii, which makes life much more pleasant. 😉

That's one reason why Southerners have fans in their rooms. Most of us have dogs and other animals and need the white noise to cover up the night time sounds they make. That constant licking drives me nuts, too. I have misophonia and mouth sounds are banes of my existence. 😊

Oh, from the viewpoint of someone who worked retail: please do not scan it twice. We may have adjusted inventory and if you scan it twice you will throw that off. Also, never feel bad taking from mega corporations. Only place you need to never take from is small stores, and also stores that make it a point to be good to their employees, care about human rights and don't donate to things that cause harm, and that are consistently working towards being more eco friendly. Reward the places that do good with your business so they can take what you give them and continue to do good with it.

3:37 I don't know how but this guy is just stalking me. This is so accurate it's scary.
I do the ear rumbling as well! For me I like to think of it as “unfocusing my ears” cause I do it when I’m hurt, bored, thinking, smiling (sometimes) and a lot of other things. 😅

To be fair, for a introvert, a dental visit is a full social encounter and thus exhausting and can be stressful. As is a haircut.

2:43 my favorite lmao
Ear rumbling!!!!!! I do this all the time, and when I explain it, no one has any idea what I'm talking about!!!
Ear rumbling has a practical use, you can use it to test whether you're in reality or not. It will also help get water out of your ears
I never realized that the "look at these guns" thing was a pun.
As a language teacher I strongly relate with forgetting common words.
4:00 and that's why I have an ongoing 20 blank or half blank collection of paper. I try throwing them away to clean up but then I end up replacing them again
I can totally relate to the “how are you?” guy who actually answered the question. I always answer!
Lol “don’t insult my heritage “
The thing is, I know exactly what ear rumbling is and I can do it on command, but I'm not really sure what muscle you use to do it, it's just in your ears.
Procrastinating by working is worse than procrastinating by it self
I love your observations they are genius. And your voice is just so soothing and you say some really kind things. I think I'm falling in love lol
Ok lowkey I felt that last one deep in my soul. I have only very recently been informed that scrunchies is the name for that specific type of hair tie. Like, I have lived all 19 years of my life without learning that information. I have been dating a girl for 4 months and I still didn't learn. She just called them hair ties. Everyone else already called them scrunchies, I just didn't even know they had a specific name to begin with.
The subconscious and the conscious going hand in hand like that...love it! It's a simply superior way of storytelling...and, you nail it everytime!
I really never thought about the guns are called arms and arms are called guns thing being connected in that way until now.
I do the ear rumbling when I dont have my headphones and I'm in a loud space. Sometimes to help I close my eyes to make the rumbling a bit stronger to drown the sound of people out so that I can relax even without the headphones, but it doesnt always work lol
ARMS WERE BEING CALLED GUNS AS A PUN ALL ALONG!!! I'm so far out of the loop, I can't even see it's shadow anymore 😭
No I’m ready for dinner LOL can’t wait to watch it I’m downloading it so I can watch in the car because I love your videos

4:40 OMG!! 😡😤😠🤬 MY LIFE WITH CATS! WHY, of all the 24 hours in a day, do they decide their "bathtime" is at my bedtime!? I think next time they are taking a nap I'm going to wake them up and take them to the bathroom with me to listen to me loudly showering.
@harry.t9523
8 ай бұрын
Let’s be fair. The sound that Cats make when they do this as a pose to Dogs isn’t nearly as repulsive or unattractive. It’s mainly since they have much smaller, dryer and quieter tongues. Also, listening to someone showering late at night isn’t nearly hard to fall asleep to as listening to a dog lapping away at their own body with their large, slobbery tongue, which you’ll probably find lapping around your face the next morning. Besides, the sound of running water can be rather soothing at times. Personally, I sometimes share a bed with my cat and the sound of him grooming himself isn’t that bothersome at all.
😅 best thing I've seen all year so wholesome 😂
Oh God. I really feel the doctors Apponitment one. And the procrasteworking...
The last one 🤣
2:43 That dot legit scared the crap out of me
2:08 this is EXACTLY the experience I have! What they need to do is virtually put the glasses on my face, then freeze a still for me to look at when I put them back on. Or record a short video I can play back.
