ok, cool to watch, and I appreciate the getting things done with so little resource - that part is cool. That said, I am fairly certain 6 OSHA inspectors just fell over dead watching this one ;-)

I thought the battery was sketchy until I saw what they were using to charge them. It's not often you see fear in these guys but when that guy threw the breaker... You saw the hesitation then the quick pull back. Yikes.

Looking at the transformer (a welding transformer, I think?) when he throws the switch that entire section of the street becomes live :)

I wonder what is the cost of such a cottage-made battery?

They will have a lot of business reconditioning old EV batteries in the future

Where are all the parts available?

does the labor price extremely low? Two men worked on it for a day.

Low enough that you can turn a profit selling restored batteries, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.
