I used Rillaru and slapped it with Trixiya CIWS and PD Conversion(?) Idk how but I somehow made it work and managed to dominate the Galaxy

Another effective(somewhat) method I found is if you want to play aggressively, try slapping on double large Penulisa 40 AS/R (iirc) in the large mounts, use the medium mounts for medlav supports(better than rapids) on the Rillaru. This can also work on the Reisen class (normal and M). I love guns that go Brrrrrrrrt :)

@@Matrix2Strata017 yeaah I tried the Penisula buuut my flux goes up fast even when most of my points are spent on flux upgrades. Trixiya however has little to no flux cost even when you shield up and take damage

@@potatochips6972 So, I did a spreadsheet comparison stat check on New Rillaru vs Old Rillaru, and ironically, they are actually very similar, just that new version has less OP to use. Also, the new UAF update for guns is slightly more efficient. I'd say the biggest issue is the OP difference at this point. I am thinking of dropping a comparison video later since I have both versions. Don't forget to check in later.

@@potatochips6972 Penisula really asks you to pick more vents than caps and after every kill let off the trigger to allow your flux to dip down so you can rinse and repeat. Penisula is kind of like how you'd pilot an odyssey where you have active and proactive phases.

correct, this is version number 0.7.2g1dc (created for Starsector version build 0.95a-RC6/0.95.1a-RC6). I haven't upgraded since I still run a lot of older(non-updated/removed/or abandoned) mods.

Imagine if residual armor wasn't a thing

Were the projectiles on the Triyia always that fast? I dont remember them traveling that quickly.

They sure did have some amazing designs. I'd also have to politely say some others have improved in the latest version. I'll add that I believe the 0.74a1 version was rushed early to match the 0.96 Starsector release. From what I can see in the data, some ships are missing (or removed), and possibly were/are undergoing another redesign. It's very much incomplete in comparison to the 0.7.2gd1c, which I am still using.

yea I definitely agree. I'm mostly referring to all of the hull shapes kind of becoming one of 2 variations now. they really do all look great from an artistic point and individually, but the fleet is starting to become a little indistinguishable. that probably sounds worse than what I'm trying to convey. Edit: I do believe there are ships in the works that will help diversify the line up currently like you said and I am very much looking forward to there release. @@Matrix2Strata017

its the Cainhurst to be more specific, from MVS. I second that it is a great mod. The Cainhurst is one of my favorite ships, very versatile and powerful.
