Caffeine man I tried the Jalapeño Strawberry today and I love it. I'm not much of a fan of 0 sugar drinks because I can't stand the sucralose flavor but when I tried this one to me it tasted like it had sugar so definitely going to have to buy this one again. Been drinking energy drinks for 17 years now and its always nice to try something new lol ☺

Red Dragon is my favorite. I've been drinking it regularly for several months. That combined with my workout helped me lose ~30 pounds, which makes me feel like the thermogenics work.

A co-worker and I are always talking about Reign. When they released the mango and strawberry lime flavors we went crazy buying them. He prefers the dreamsicle flavor. When the thermogenic flavors released, I had seen them but had not purchased any. Luckily, he had already tried the jalapeno flavor and gave me the heads up that it was not all that great. I prefer the red dragon flavor because it reminds me of the pacific punch monster. I feel as though they recycled some flavors. True blue reminds me of the zero sugar monster. Thanks for introducing me to new options for energy drinks. It helps keep my options open.

As for the recycling of drinks, I think they've made a conscious effort to not mimic any of the Monster flavors specifically, because they do want to stand alone as their own company. And even though the Juiced line by Monster was good..... I think the Red Dragon is SO much better AND no sugar! The True Blu, well, its a berry so a lot of berrys are going to taste similar. 😂Well, I do my best to get them when they come out, but it is few and far between when I get the new drinks AND review them, since i usually can only do 1 video a week and in January, tons of new drinks came out.

Great video! I saw these at a gas station a couple weeks ago but decided to buy the Rockstar Thermo drinks instead and would buy them the next time I went there. Just 2 days later they were sold out so now I have to wait until I go back this weekend. Here's hoping they'll be in stock.

When I was in the army and after that working in factories, energy drinks were a must, I have always hated coffee...but I am going to see once I am done if I truly have tried everything. I am late on the bandwagon to a lot of these drinks. Just picked up the Reign Inferno Red Dragon a couple of days ago. Really good! Very heavy on that fruit punch flavor. Thankfully, I love fruit punch. The thermogenic drinks seem to help out whenever I go to work and start moving around a whole lot. My job is a bit more physical being in food service. Yeah, they did something really nice with it. I mean, I know a few of my subscribers work at coke, so they may actually be able to give more insight (if they read through the comments), but its not your typical fruit punch, which is nice.

Great vid. Love your bids that actually elaborate on energy drinks. What about the BCCA content/percentage on these? I couldn't find it.

Thanks! Glad you like them! So yeah, like a majority of the pre-workout drinks, they don't list the amount of BCAA's. Only a few rare companies do and for a few reasons. 1. They aren't required to list it 2. Theres not enough in there to make a difference. You need between 3-5 grams of BCAAs to make a difference in your workout and some people take more. The amount they can fit into these drinks is insignificant compared to that. Although, I will say this, they give you a decent amount when compared to some of the other well known companies. If you look at the ingredients list, several of the ingredients hover around the top to middle of the list. Its required to list the ingredients from what there is the most of to the least of. Knowing that it has 300mgs of caffeine, you can see where the other ingredients fall around and get a very general idea. These are higher on the ingredients list than several of the other preworkouts.

Actually, its not as interesting as everyone makes it out to be, but occasionally I incorporate a "Punch" into the video when a drink punches me with flavor. Interesting....must have something to do with that increase and heat and extra burn. You may burn a few more calories but then you want to want more. 👍 I dont know if there is any science behind that though, just an excuse to eat more. 😂

Isn't everything? 😂 BUT! Joking aside.... be careful with alocohol and caffeine. its not a good combo and has led to many hospitalizations due to alcohol poisoning and/or caffeine overdose. Most people recover, but nobody likes having to go to the hospital. Basically, the part of your brain that normally makes you pass out when you drink too much, gets overriden by caffeine and it is very very very easy to continue to drink too much since you feel somewhat "OK"

Yep, they're definitely pushing the envelope and doing new things. I mean, when Reign came out, I thought they were going to try and copy all the Bang flavors, but they didnt. They mimicked a few to show they could compete and then starting going in an all new direction. Good stuff.

I’ve tried the REIGN Inferno Red Dragon & Warlord Watermelon and those were pretty great flavors! I’ve seen those 2 everywhere I go. As for the blue and green ones, they’re hard to find. I recently found the REIGN Inferno Tru Blu in Chinatown and I’m willing to try it later on this weekend. I’m gonna expect something similar to a Razzle Berry from the regular REIGN line. It’s unfortunate I can’t find the REIGN Inferno Jalapeño Strawberry anywhere.

Always a safe bet! ... but, my new rule of thumb is, you see it, you buy it! You never know when its going to be gone! I didnt pick up a Game Fuel Zero at the first place I saw it at thinking, "I have too many drinks in my fridge to review right now. These will be in stores everywhere." Couldn't find them 2 weeks later and forgot what store I did see them in. 😂

Tried out the True Blu, and first thing I noticed personally was a a noticeable blast of artificial sweetener that isn’t present in the other Reign drinks. I looked at the back and noticed Acesulfame Potassium as one of the ingredients, which isn’t in the Razzleberry. The aerosol that like taste for me was inescapable and caused a really bad stomach ache later on. Not sure if you experienced any feeling like that. More so, despite having 10 calories unlike the regular 0 Calorie Reign, I found it odd they would use an artificial sweetener so commonly used in diet/zero calorie drinks in Inferno, but not their regular. Still a fan of the brand, but think that ingredient should be removed.

I literally have been trying to find someone that reviews and goes in depth about energy drinks. So happy I found you CaffeineMan! You're a badass!

The jalepeño flavor was my first one and was definitely out there in terms of flavor but I still thought it was good. Just picked up the red inferno and just as good 👍

@allan bacon People sometimes ask me the same thing, since I will sometimes buy one and then have to wait to drink it until the review. For example, I have the Rockstar Thermo in my fridge...BUT Im waiting to find the second one before doing the review, or trying it out.

I finally found and tried these over the last few days. I liked the Red Dragon the best and it's probably my favorite fruit punch energy drink so far. True Blu was alright but I thought it tasted more like the lo-carb or sugar-free version of Monster. Jalapeno Strawberry was really weird but surprisingly decent for what it is, but I'm not a big fan of jalapenos in general.

CaffeineMan Okay, had the Red Dragon and that is my favorite of the three. Tastes like a light fruit punch/cherry mix without tasting like an over sugared Kool-Aid beverage. My final rank: 1. Red Dragon 2. Jalapeño Strawberry 3. True Blu

I felt the Tru Blu tasted like a blueberry-grape and reminded me too much of Dimetapp to be enjoyable. 100% enjoyed the Jalapeno strawberry though. I'll keep a lookout for Red Dragon as that sounds like the best of them all.

Overall thought they did a good job. Not sure I’ll be picking up the jalapeño again but thoroughly enjoy the fact that they are trying completely new and unique flavors.

The jalapeño strawberry is really good, you taste jalapeños but the strawberry mellows the spice its so good and creative

Caffeine man! I used to hate Red Bull original but have found a new taste for it... I like sugar free energy drinks because no crash etc. Anyways, most of the sugar free energy drinks I have contain sucralose which I feel is the best of the artificial sweeteners. Anyways the sugar free red bull has ace-k and aspartame which have been in my mind the ones to stay away from. What’s your opinion on this?

I plan on eventually doing a video on artificial sweeteners, but it is a very controversial topic. There will always be one group of people that are die hard against specific ones, if not all artificial sugars. Me, personally, I like Erithyritol because it is a sugar alcohol. I dislike the taste of Aspartame because its tastes "diet" to me. And sucralose is one of the most commonly used artificial sweeteners and I dont have anything against it.

I will definitely check the gas station near me to see if these are available. I am intrigued by Red Dragon and Tru Blu.

Red Dragon is probably REIGN’s best flavor, True Blue is good but tastes ten times better when extremely cold ( in the freezer for a Bit) I didn’t mind Jalapeño strawberry it was actually pretty good just don’t know if I would buy again.

Wellllll, im not sure if its the BEST Flavor, but its definitely awesome. Then again, Im definitely partial to the berrys and fruits, so obviously we all have different tastes and different opinions. I can see Red Dragon being the best flavor for a lot of people! The Jalapeno Strawberry, glad I tried it. Will I buy it again? Maybe.... not regularly, but the occasional spicy day!

When do you think reign will be in canada

I work at Monster and Red Dragon is best. But, weirdly Jalopeno is what most people like. The first smell will throw you off, but try it. 7 Eleven is required to have it now. Still early and hard to find currently. Ampm is coming soon.

Funny, because it seems like the Jalapeno is a love or hate relationship. A lot of people love it but seemingly many people hate it too. The people on Reddit are torn as well. If anything, controversy will lead to more publication, as well as general intriguing and interest. I'll probably stick to the True Blu and Red Dragon myself. Thanks for watching and commenting! It's absolutely love hate. When we introduced it to the coke distributing staff before it launched everyone was exactly as you mention. They loved it or hated it. When we polled the favorite jalapeño flavor won amongst the taste testers of the 3 flavors. To me it has to be Red Dragon all the way. One when you up in morning and I'm good to go. Feels different for sure with thermogenics to me. I had about 2 or 3 weeks of drinking regular Reign and then these and it made me feel better for the day the regular Reign

The people who hate it, well...at least they bought it once as a novelty. Given the high caffeine content, I tend not to drink them too often because it limits my other caffeine options throughout the day...but that MangoMatic...man. LOL!

Hmmm.... I wonder if they changed the flavor profile of Monster Lo Carb? I used to drink the lo carb about 4 years ago. There was an auction house not far from me and they would get a case of the lo carb Monster and sell it for $15. 24 cans for $15!!! I had to buy it! Who wouldnt at such a low price. I sacrificed flavor for price. So, I drank them when needed for a solid year. Did not overly like them but drank them because they were cheap and lo carb. These True Blu's are an amazing flavor. Didnt remind me anything like a lo carb Monster. Perhaps I need to do a side by side taste test next!!! Thanks for watching!!! 👍

Side by side would be cool! Lo carb is still the same classic flavor. I really assumed that’s why they named this Reign “True Blu”.... bc Lo carb was the “blue can” before Ultra Blue came out lol. Also an interesting note that would be good to let everyone know that since Dreamsicle launched, ALL reign’s now have 10 calories moving forward. Just a cool fun fact to share with your viewers :)
