hey do you know a good website with a good H1 78 mask (Halloween 1978) cause im trying to get one for christmas

Since the sculpt is so warped and atrocious it might have been easier to replicate the look of how the hero mask looks today

@@RamenNoodleBudgets well you werent missing out with not getting their regular version back then. The regular versions had cotton ball hair that literally had to have hair nets and as soon as you removed the net all.of the hair would come off at the SLIGHTEST pull!

Hey, look! It’s the Phelous mask! In all seriousness, it’s not too bad. Not good but not as bad as the other cheap ones, probably the better of them all. Some criticisms include maybe cutting the long strands of the hair on the bottom back of the mask, and maybe (if you want to or have the resources) seal up the mouth cut and ear holes using latex and then recut them so it’s not as pronounced and doesn’t have that over exaggerated castle stretch. I do believe you went a little bit too overboard with the darkening of the cheekbones and forehead, but it does look good in dark lighting. Dark lighting makes most Myers masks look better

You did a really good job with this mask. You did the hair so good that it kinda looks like an H1 mask but the mask sculpt was just not working out. This was a really good rehaul.

You did a pretty good job rehauling it! The before mask, looked like a mediocre michael myers sex mask, with a collapsed chin, the after look likes the original, with a collapsed chin.

Not sure if you know or not but if you adjust the screw on the back of your airbrush it will allow more paint to come out

I think once you added the hair it gave it more of that Myers feel and look. A terrible mask but if your still able to work with it, it's a win.

Always enjoy these. Something that maybe a cool idea, if it’s feasible, I’d like to see you take mask from other Halloween films and try to make it like the H1 mask.. like take the H4 and give it the H1 treatment. Keep up the good work.

Tbh it doesn't lool half that bad finished. I would try to add some extra material like some scrap latex parts from another mask on the inside to make the mouth look shut and display it on a mannequin head with a shitload of plastic bags to get the right shape

Just buy fake blood and dip your finger in it and run yoir finger down the eye sockets and then let it dry then your set

I really respect the courage you have to rehaul such a fucking terrible Michael Myers mask. But let’s be honest it’s not the worst thing i’ve ever seen because I’ve seen worse but it’s definitely up there it’s just sometimes I just wonder what the hell they were thinking when they made that mask.

I ordered that very same mask a couple years ago purely for nostalgic reasons and put it on display with my others. It almost looks like the "rubies the mask" I found in the mall when I was around 18. Never could find one until then. Ex gf ripped it to shreds once because she was mad at me and nuts as shit. Oh well at least I was finally able to find the closest replacement I could 😂

It does Look good, after the Rehaul, but you only have to close his mouth up. Cuz it looks goofy!

For ur camra with the loctite spray adhesive try using goo gone to help get rid of the adhesive residue Hope it helps
