Good afternoon. This is great stuff! I've got a pricey 1/32 Ultimate soldier M3 metal halftrack with a broken bogey assembly from a move. I've also got one of those inexpensive NewRay battery powered halftracks that possible could donate parts to make the Ultimate Soldier one roll again. Rehabs are fun and make great use out of the spares bin. Thanks, Andy!

Hi Andy. I find best way of glueing parts where you don't want any squeeze-out is to actually use a fingertip to apply the cement. The valleys in the print allow a nice thin layer to be applied while the ridges wipe off the excess. Obviously this should only be done with poly cement, not CA.

Great tutorial!; I know this video goes a bit back, but I have a quick question for you: Working on the same kit, primed in Tamiya Fine Grey and painted with Tamiya Lacker spray paint in Olive Drab; can I use now wash paints like Citadel Agrax Earthshade straight into the model?, or being enamel paints they would require a prior clear coat? (Not really clear as the clear spray can is also Tamiya and I’m assuming is also Lacker no?). I do have a hand full of Citadel primer spray in several colors, but someone told me not to use them if I was using the Tamiya Lacker as they are meant for Enamel paint only). Thank you for any help 😊

Hi Andy, first of all nice build :). Love the detail. I noticed the strap you used and in the instruction it also mentions a strap. I don't have this in the kit. Does it come with the kit? Also do you have a video on how to do the water canteen straps? I've tried and it doesn't quite work out as well using the plastic on the moulding . Or can you do a video please? Thanks

  • @owenmayes2128

Hi Andy. A good video, but I'm a bit confused about the jerrycans, surely they would have been knotted on top, so as to release them, gluing them doesn't look that realistic. Also I don't recall ever seeing jerrycans on the bonnets of the SAS jeeps, a full jerrycan is heavy and might interfere with other equipement like the guns.
