I took the program at the College and couldn't find a job without experience 😞 It was a few years ago. I still love to code. I got so frustrated about the Job thing I didn't bother taking the CPC even though I graduated with a 4.0 and 30 years in the Medical field. I always loved your videos. I'm still considering taking the class ❤

Sorry to hear this @debcomly2481. I do know medical coding today requires certification. You may want to consider taking the certification exam to prove your proficiency to employers. I would also check back with your school. I have employers that reach out to me for my graduates. Your school probably has the same resources.

I am certified COC have 8 years experience ER and same day surgery and imaging.. recently lost my job and now find my self struggling because I don’t have CPC physican based or observation it’s really frustrating I hope to gain some more knowledge so I can take the CPC exam

My job is willing to pay for my certification however it would have to be justified thru an approved program aapc, medcert, etc for my reimbursement, is there a way to sign up with aapc but request to be in your class while in the program or if I sign up for your class and pay out of pocket do your program since coordinated with aapc show enrollment with them?

Hi do you offer classes for the CCS?

Do you think NHA is still recognized? Also curious about AMCA both which are accredited by NCCA and AAPC is not but a lot of jobs want you to have the credential from AHIMA or AAPC.

I truly believe it will take strong NHA coders to make the NHA credential recognizable. I have taught for an NHA program recently and was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of information covered in their program. So, I challenged those students to use the information and after sitting for NHA certification, to sit for the AAPCs CPC certification. AHIMA and AAPC credentials are the only credentials accepted in my state as well.

If I am aiming for the CCA through AHIMA, could I still join this class? If not, what would you recommend?
