hindi ako naiyak. kse inabanduna ako ng tatay ko simula pagkabata ako...never ko syang nakit, ngaung 30 years old na ako saka sya nagparamdam, hinanap nya ako sa fb, ayun nagkausap kmi nagkaroon sya ng 2 anak, ang ganda ganda ng buhay nila sobra.. ung isang anak nya naging pulis at yung isa naman naging architect. samantalang ako lumaking mahirap😥 nagtrabaho agad sa edad na 17 years old..pero masaya ako kse pinalaki ako ng mama ko na mabuting tao🙂🙂. ang saya ko nung kinontak ako ng tatay ko.. pero isang linggo lang kmi nagusap.. lagi nalang nya ako siniseen at di nagrereply..hindi ko naman klangan ng financial help nya at never ako nanghingi simula nung kinontak nya ako.. pero ung kalinga nya sa loob ng 30 years ay hinanap hanap ko..😥😥 ayun pagkatapos ng isang linggo di na nya ako pinansin.. cguro sa isip nya ok lang ako kse buhay pa ako kahit nasa gitna tayo ng pandemic.. kaya eto😊 sa pangalawang pagkakataon inabanduna na naman nya ako.. ok lang sanay naman ako. basta anjan si mama sa tabi ko ok na ako dun😊😊😊

Agree with you.. her lyric soprano voice on this performance provides vulnerability even if she does not need to showcase much of her range.

Wala tayong Ms Regine Velasquez kung wala si Mang Gerry na napakahusay na nag training sa kanya, kitang kita naman even in her 50’s ang boses napakaganda pa rin. RIP Mang Gerry!

This is why no one can beat her! She's not just a singer. I will say this again, she is a soul capturer. She lulls everyone by her magical voice. She's a story teller. It will take another lifetime to find another RVA. Proud that I exist in this generation. Foreign reactors should experience this.

Mang Gerry helped the songbird, so much; he abandoned his job (construction worker, and due to scoliosis, i think?) just to support Reg from what she dreamed of-singing. He enhanced her and kept her grounded even if she's soaring already. Without him, there'll be no Songbird that we all loved. Thank you, Mang Gerry!
