Give Johnny M some credit he started this by saying he wouldn't attend any more events until Reggie got it back

In my opinion, I don’t think that was the catalyst of them returning it. I think it was the fact that Manziel went on such a loud platform known as club Shay Shay exposing the hypocrisy that caught their attention to reinstate this winner his trophy.

@@Eyesunmoonstars your opinion can be what you want but Google before responding to me on mine! Never said it was the only reason but definitely it was one of them that organization still has a lot of money on the line from events and functions from rich donors the two most requested people or Johnnie and Reggie! Check the facts one is there the other is not

@@jyanharris7957 it’s not a fact that Johnny started this kind sir. Reggie did. My opinion, although unsolicited is based on this fact and that of Johnny backing Reggie up on not attending the ceremonies. Again, to Johnnie’s credit, he went on a high platform and said he wouldn’t attend. That caught ears and the attention of the NCAA because as you insinuated, money was about to walk out the door and they can’t have that, no.

Reginald Money Bush Jr. (born March 2, 1985) is an American former football running back who was an on-air college football analyst for Fox Sports. He played college football for the USC Trojans, earning consensus All-American honors twice and winning the Heisman Trophy as the most outstanding player in the nation. Bush is widely regarded as one of the greatest college football players of all-time. He was selected by the New Orleans Saints second overall in the 2006 NFL Draft. While with the Saints, Bush was named an All-Pro punt returner in 2008 and won Super Bowl XLIV in 2010 over the Indianapolis Colts. He also played for the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers before retiring from professional football in 2017. In addition to winning the 2005 Heisman Trophy, Bush also won the 2005 Doak Walker and Walter Camp awards. However, allegations that he received improper benefits were central to an NCAA investigation of the USC football program that led to severe NCAA sanctions against USC, including a two-year postseason ban and the vacating of the 2004 national championship. As a result, Bush voluntarily forfeited his Heisman Trophy. On April 24, 2024, it was announced that Bush would have his Heisman Trophy reinstated because of what the Heisman Trust calls "enormous changes in the college football landscape." Source Wikipedia
