Inside Knicks star Jalen Brunson's journey as a franchise player under his father's coaching

The Knicks' new franchise player, 27-year-old All-Star Jalen Brunson, opens up about the rare opportunity to work closely with his father, Rick Brunson, an assistant coach for the team. They form one of the few father-son, player-coach duos in NBA history.

Jalen Brunson is such a professional. He acts the same whether the knicks are winning or losing or if he is having a bad or great game. He has a great connection with the teammates. The Knicks are playing really very good and are like a well oiled machine.

He definitely saved the franchise but they are far from championship contenders. They are basically the Kew York Warriors with all that perimeter shooting. They are going to have to hit alot of three pointers in the playoffs. Defense is way more intense.

Jalen is what we have always wanted as Knicks fans. MVP caliber, Star PG, dedicated, gritty. Playing with his college comrades, his father works for the team. It’s the perfect story, no matter how much the league hates on him. Jalen is a Knicks legend in the making (if he isn’t already a legend).
