I should have watched this video sooner. The old expression, "just take your time", comes to mind. Dumped out what I thought was old salt but what turned out to be the resin that comes with the water softener inside. Luckily, I am getting my screw-up fixed though.Blu Technologies has been helping me out.

This was exactly the video I was hoping to find! If you have to do it a second time like you did in this video, do you backflush between the first and second regen, or do you simply drain the canister and then add more salt and warm water?

Nope, you wouldn't need to do the backflush a 2nd time since it is just a rinse. You would just need to do the regen twice in this scenario. If you have any other questions, reach out to us via email at info@mobilemusthave.com and we can help you out! Thank you!

Hey Erik, we are full timers and I have the On The Go Double and when I do the regen I put a hose on the output and send it down the sewer drain as not to have the salt water possibly effect the foliage/plant life around the softener, just a little thing to be aware of or tip. I really like this new Blu system and it being all metal as opposed to my plastic softener and filter canisters. I might have to switch to it. How good are the quick connects? I have them on my system also( not the Blu ones)

Hi, thanks for the comment . Love the idea about relocating the salt water. As far as the quick connects they are second to none, extremely good quality, and I’ve never had an issue or leak. We have not found any connectors on the market anywhere close even though there are some on Amazon that looks similar but in testing are nowhere near the quality. Thanks again for the great question.

I’m trying to get some answers to some tech questions from the company but they’re not taking calls (the message says to email them) but they’re not responding to emails. I’ve waited a week so far which is a long time so I’m wondering if they’re having business troubles…
